🌳 BIG NEWS FOR THE CITY OF AITKIN! 🌳

The City of Aitkin was awarded a $314,000 MN DNR Community Re-Leaf Grant to help remove ash trees impacted by the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) from private property.

The Emerald Ash Borer has now been spotted within city limits, and this grant will help our property owners. 💚

We strongly encourage homeowners, renters, contractors, and community members to attend one of our upcoming Community Meetings to learn more about:
✔️ The ash tree removal program
✔️ Who may qualify
✔️ Application details and timelines
✔️ Next steps for residents

Nistler Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning is looking for an experienced Plumber to join our team! This is a great opportunity to work with a skilled team while building a long term career with a company that values quality work and dependable service.

What You’ll Do:
You’ll be a hands on part of the team, helping serve residential and commercial customers by:

Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures.
Diagnosing plumbing issues and providing effective solutions.
Performing service calls and troubleshooting plumbing systems.
Assisting with remodels, new construction, and system upgrades.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.
Communicating professionally with customers and team members.
Following plumbing codes, safety procedures, and company standards.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 3 years plumbing experience OR Journeyman license.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Dependable, motivated, and detail oriented.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
