Join us for a thrilling watch party at the law school on March 21st as we watch the game unfold on the big screen. It's the perfect opportunity to bond with fellow Zips fans, enjoy some snacks, and witness the excitement of March Madness!

But wait, there's more! In addition to the watch party, we're also hosting a Men's and Women's Bracket Challenge! Think you can predict the winners? Compete against your fellow students, faculty, and staff by filling out your bracket for both the men's and women's tournaments.

ALIAS! Join us for an informational meeting about the UVA Softball Invitational! No experience is necessary to play. For 41 years, NGSL has hosted the UVA Law Softball Invitational. Hundreds of law students from all over the country travel to Charlottesville to enjoy a weekend of softball, camaraderie, and of course, booze! The Invitational isn’t just about fun and games – proceeds from the event are donated to ReadyKids, a local charity. In 2023 NGSL donated $35,000 to support ReadyKids’ mission. The invitational will be Friday, April 5 – Sunday, April 7, 2024 in Charlottesville, Virginia. See you at the meeting!

Join us for a moderate hike in the Cuyahoga Valley as we contemplate our relationship to place, gender, and "the natural world."

October 23, 2pm: Strength Training and Pilates with LAW
Join LAW and ALIAS for strength training and pilates at the Fruit Stand in Kent. Tickets are free for due paying members and $20 for non-due paying members. Tickets include an after-workout fruit bowl!

Meet your 2023-2024 ALIAS Executive Board! Hi, I’m Amanda, the President of ALIAS. I am a 3L that is going into military law with Army JAG. My favorite athletic endeavor is weightlifting, and outside of school, I like to go hiking, spend time with friends, and bake!

Hello, I’m Jacob, the Vice President. My favorite activity is swimming. I want to be a civil litigator and I like to play baseball and get outside for fun.

I’m Jasmine Oesterling, the Treasurer! I’m a 2L interested in Immigration Law. I am currently interning at Human Rights First Refugee Representation Department; outside of school, I drink fun drinks and go on long walks in the woods. My favorite sport is fencing.

Hello, I’m Emma! I’m a 2L and the Secretary of ALIAS. My favorite sporting activity is weightlifting, I want to practice family law and medical malpractice, and outside of school, I like to hang out with friends and family.

Hi, I’m Derek. I’m a 2L interested in personal injury, workers comp, and medical malpractice. But we’re not here for that we’re here for sports and athletics! Like many of us I’ve let law school kinda consume me and my health as a result has been kicked to the wayside, so I wanted to join ALIAS as a way to try to get back into more physical activity. My activity background is in swimming, which is by far my favorite. But I love to watch and learn about baseball and football. I’m excited for the softball section of ALIAS. My title is ‘Head Coach,’ which is a topical title for ‘rules nerd,’ which fits me. I’m just going to read rules for events we do and inform our teams. I also love less physical group activities like tabletop gaming and competitive multiplayer video games.

Hey everyone, I’m Abby! I’m the Social Media Manager for ALIAS. I’m a 2L who is interested in Family Law, but I have changed my mind too many times to count. Outside of school, I have a crazy cat that keeps me on my toes, and an even crazier family that I love to spend time with. I enjoy drinking coffee, reading and shopping for fun home decor. My favorite sports are tennis and skiing!
