Weather update as of 7:05 PM:

Fans, due to weather conditions tonight‘s game has been officially postponed and due to concerns with impending worsening Weather tonight‘s Fireworks show has also been canceled.

We will play a doubleheader tomorrow with two 7-inning games starting at 6:05. Gates will open at 5:00.

Any fan holding a ticket for Thursday, Sept 3 may exchange their ticket for any remaining 2026 regular season home game OR any April or May game in 2027.

Fans, we are closely monitoring the weather forecast for tonight’s game. The tarp is currently on the field, and the game is on as scheduled.

The gates WILL open at 5:30 tonight.

We will provide up-to-date information to this thread as we have it.

Akron RubberDucks outfielder Ryan Cesarini was named Eastern League Player of the Month for August.

Cesarini hit .356/.406/.805 during the month while leading the Eastern League in home runs (11), RBI (25), total bases (70), slugging percentage and OPS (1.211).

He was second in the EL in batting average and hits (31) while ranking third in runs scored (21). He had 10 multi-hit games during the month, including a career-high four hit game against Harrisburg on August 23 at 7 17 Credit Union Park. He also posted three multi-home run games during the month.

Cesarini earned Eastern League Player of the Week honors during Week 20 (Aug. 10-16). During that week, he picked up nine hits in four games played against the Altoona Curve batting .474 (9-for-19) with six home runs and 11 RBI. He led the Eastern League during the week in batting average, home runs, RBI, slugging percentage (1.421), OPS (1.921), hits, extra-base hits (six) and total bases (27).

This is the first time a member of the RubberDucks has earned Player of the Month honors this season.

Cesarini is joined by Columbus Clippers first baseman Ralphy Velazquez (International League) and Lake County Captains right-hander Jacob Zibin (Midwest League) as members of the Guardians organization to earn Player or Pitcher of the Month honors in August.
