Congratulations to our Varsity Volleyball team on a **4th-place finish at the Fall Falcon Fest!**

👏 A special congratulations to senior **Haley Moore**, who earned **All-Tournament Team honors!**

The Falcons are back in action **Tuesday at 5:00 PM** as they take on **Buchtel in the Nest!**

WHAT A WAY TO START!

Our first race was yesterday and we came out on FIRE! 🔥

The girls finished 1-2-5-6-7-8-9 and won with a score of 21-40!🥇

The boys finished with ALL Firestone runners in the top 7 and won with a score of 15-61! 🥇

Up Next is Glen Oak on Saturday. GO STONE!

All APS buildings will be closed on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 due to a district-wide unanticipated network outage.

This includes summer schools, summer camps for all elementary, middle and high schools. It also includes ESY, secondary credit recovery and city programs held in any of our schools.

All athletic activities and events are also canceled.

Thank you for your continued support of Akron Public Schools.

Congratulations to STEM High School graduate and Firestone CLC Volleyball Player Elijah! He has been named the Division II Boys Volleyball Player of the Year in Ohio and earned First Team All-Ohio honors after being recognized as the Division II Region Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. Earlier this month, he was also recognized as the Akron Beacon Journal's Akron Area Athlete of the Week. Off the court, Elijah graduated from STEM High School as a valedictorian with a 4.130 GPA. We are proud to celebrate this incredible student-athlete and all he has accomplished!
