Firestone Falcons All Sports Boosters

All APS buildings will be closed on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 due to a district-wide unanticipated network outage.

This includes summer schools, summer camps for all elementary, middle and high schools. It also includes ESY, secondary credit recovery and city programs held in any of our schools.

All athletic activities and events are also canceled.

Congratulations to STEM High School graduate and Firestone CLC Volleyball Player Elijah! He has been named the Division II Boys Volleyball Player of the Year in Ohio and earned First Team All-Ohio honors after being recognized as the Division II Region Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. Earlier this month, he was also recognized as the Akron Beacon Journal's Akron Area Athlete of the Week. Off the court, Elijah graduated from STEM High School as a valedictorian with a 4.130 GPA. We are proud to celebrate this incredible student-athlete and all he has accomplished!

Registration is now open for this year's Firestone Falcon All Sports Booster Golf Outing at Good Park Golf Course.

On site registration will take place from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, followed by a shotgun start at 9:00 AM. Participants will enjoy prizes, lunch, beverages, and dinner provided by Swensons. There will also be opportunities to win clubs from Dixon Golf and more.

Baseball: Record, 8-4

Volleyball: Record, 12-7

With only two returning varsity players, the boys volleyball team has shown tremendous growth throughout this season! Led by co-captains Elijah Myers and Jordan Dampier, they have produced a record of 12-7 thus far. This team has posted two historical milestones for the program: They swept host St. Vincent-St. Mary 3-0 for the first time in program history and beat Stow 3-2 for the first time in program history! Other athletes contributing to these milestones were Aaden Williamson, Beckham Nethken, Theo Martin, Jack Rugama, Rohan Gould, Xavier Ellington, and Iroh Anderson! The team is coached by Stacey McMillan, Jaison Santos, and Daja Thomas.

This school year flew by faster than our Falcon sprinters!! A reminder that student athletes are students first. To participate in sports, athletes need to pass 5 one credit courses and have a GPA of 1.5 the previous grading quarter. So this 4th grading period affects playing a fall sport!!
