We can not stress this enough - this day does not happen without volunteers!! It’s truly all hands on deck to make this a successful day for our girls and our league. Please comment below or send a message with the time slot you’d like to fill. We truly appreciate all of the help! We can not wait to kick off this season with all of you!

➡️ For any players that would like more paper tickets or to turn theirs in, Jackie will be at Field #2 tonight and Friday at 6:30pm.

🗓️Tickets are due and can be turned in at the pavilion 5:30pm April 29th.

Preview day is approaching! If anyone or a business would like to donate a raffle basket, please message us. This is a great way to support the youth softball league and advertise your business! We ask that baskets are turned in by April 29th. Teams may bring their baskets on Preview Day.

Do you or someone you know own a business or want to purchase a banner to personalize for your favorite team? We are currently looking to add more sponsors to our lineup this year!

💫The Coventry High School coaches and softball team are having a one-day skill development camp with instruction and drills suited for all skill levels.

🥎Ages: 1st grade to 8th grade girls
🗓️When: Saturday May 9th, 2026
🌤️Where: Logan Softball Fields -
2701 N Turkeyfoot Rd. Akron OH 44319
⏰Time: 9:00 - 12:00 pm
💲Cost: $35 includes a camp T-shirt.
*Must register by April 29" to guarantee a camp t-shirt.

If you would like a form, you may ask your coach at practice. Please be sure that your daughter does not have a game scheduled before committing. Schedules should be available next week.

Preview Day and Picture Day have been rescheduled to May 2nd due to boys baseball also having their event the day before Mother’s Day this year.

We feel this change will better support families with players in both leagues. This means no one has to rush and everyone can enjoy both events.

PLGFS IS LOOKING FOR HELP!
Our softball program is looking for people to help keep our fields game-ready and running smoothly!
We are currently looking for:�• Individuals interested in field maintenance and setting up the fields before games- usually 2-3 field set ups per day at $15 per field. �• Umpires (age 16+) for 8U softball games - this pays $30 per game.
This is a great way to support our players, stay involved in the community, and be part of the game we all love! 💙
