In 2024 I accepted the offer from Barberton youth football and cheerleading to become their Football Director that season was very well documented

My role within the organization and byf borad was to handle all football operations and everything that I've ever done within the program was approved by our Program Director and Board at the time

November of 2024 the Barberton magics 3rd-4th grade team won the Buckeye Youth Football Conference silver bracket championship with a 7-3 record (remember that)**

One week later after the Championship game I was approached by our board president and high school football coach at the time about starting a travel team within Barberton youth football and cheerleading

I accepted that role as the new travel team program director for Barberton youth football and cheerleading and I created BYF Magic Elite Football we did not have a board meeting December 2024 or January 2025 first meeting was February 2025 we introduced magic elite to the board everything was approved the full agreement was magic elite was an extension of byf ran through the youth football program that we already had in place the difference was it was a select team and we played in a different league than our rec team

I operated as the football director for the entire program I was at all of the games flag games tackle games girls flag travel I took care of everything as it was brought to me whatever we needed if I was asked I provided I help every single team within the organization coached all the children everything that I did within the program always was approved by the program director and the byf board all of our kids were registered through the byf website you cannot play for byf or magic elite if you did not register through our website everybody paid through our website everything was handled as far as money through our treasurer never me directly

Mother's Day 2025 our board president resigned due to health reasons

I show support to our former board president fast forward now everything that we did for the past 2 years never happened I operated illegally and that's the narrative being painted right now if anyone knows me or been around me you know exactly what I do and what I'm about I am here for the student athletes and their success nothing more nothing less

Some people are trying to say that the travel team program director role was created illegally and that's where we're at with that so with that being said I still feel the program should stand behind their original hire of football director in 2024 but that's not the case because there is a new board in place so football will be played in the city of Barberton.

Magic Elite is no longer affiliated with byf but we are up and running will be accepting kids for tackle football girls flag football and cheerleading for the 2026-2027 season more details are to come always remember Go Magics and Trust the process
