Miller South opened in 1993. Among the original set of faculty was one of the art teachers, Susan Yingling! She created a design that would go on to be THE iconic Miller South t-shirt for 30+ years. Swipe to see the original!

Every Miller South student has one of these. They were worn for field trips, concerts, just about anything, and any current or former student alike would recognize it from a mile away.

Well! Zoom in on it a little and check out the details. We decided to create our own little RoadRokr 5k version of it and it is TOO cute and fun. We hope you love it as much as we do. 💗🖤

Reminder that the proceeds of the race go to the Miller South Instrumental Music Department. And now, you get to be a Miller South Star too! 💕⭐️

As always, I want to thank for this truly remarkable design. I’m obsessed. And Nathan is also a Miller South alum and former student of Mrs. Yingling, making these even cooler.

As you all know, last year, we made an adjustment to the name of our race. While we have just loved our connections to Highland Square through the use of the Highland Theater marquee as our logo inspiration…

Of course, I must profusely thank for this perfect design. I thought it would be fun to show some of the process he helped me through over the last few months. It was a lot of fun and we couldn’t be happier with the final product. ☺️
