Due to a combination of poor visibility, high winds and high probability of severe thunderstorms, the Weekend Getaway is CANCELLED.

I am very torn over this. I know many of our teams are already up there. Everyone who is pre-registered will be refunded. I can't get out of my head the last storm we fished through in Chautauqua. We arrived back to Long Point after a harrowing 40 minutes hanging on to a dock, to be asked by the Sherriff if all of our anglers were accounted for because there was an overturned bass boat on the lake.

I can't put you guys out there in good conscience. I know Chautauqua Lake. This is the first time in 15 years we have cancelled. This is the last place I would ever cancel, as it is my favorite lake. If you choose to go out fishing tomorrow, please keep your eyes to the sky and watch out if the wind changes directions...
