George Music Dart Leagues

We had a George Music Dart Leagues player do some work in the DRTs Daily Remote Tournaments by PPD last night.

Nicholas Hill got himself into an early 4.0 cap singles, with some great shots. He made it all the way to the king seat match, but got his butt kicked there & had to wait a bit for the opportunity to get back to the finals. Playing against Scott Miokovich in the 3rd place game went to the 3rd game & was a battle. Nick got back to the finals & proceeded to win game 5 of the first half of the double dip. The second set was there for the taking & a missed trip 15 cost him the championship but got him a second place finish & a bit of cash. Great work sir!

One of the best in the area got himself a perfect 701 game 7/8/2026 & we thought it deserved a memento!

Kevin Guist is in our Wednesday reverse handicap George Music Dart Leagues, so being his stats are high, had to start at a 701, when others started at 501. He hit bulls all the way to his trip 17, without a miss. Such an awesome feat sir!

We commissioned Frank Bilby to create a one of a kind trophy & boy did he! Thank you Frank for your quick turnaround & awesome work on that 3D printer! Kevin loved it & the whole Barberton Civi Club Wednesday crew was there for the presentation.

We love our players continuing to step up their games & we are more than excited for the upcoming 2026-27 season!

We also ran a blind draw at the Barberton Civi Club last night, since all of the equipment was out & ready to be used.

Very short notice, but still got 10 players.

The players making the final were Angela Hill & Nick Hill, against Matt Beal & Meghan McKean. Both teams decided to split & take the money. Great work to all that showed up, we even had some brand new players join & have a great time!

Scott & Tina Swearingen took their talents to the 4.0 doubles & came away victorious, with all of the money! Great work you 2!

In the 4.0 singles, Nick Hill finally got back into the winning column, with a victory in some hotly contested matches.

George Music Dart Leagues All Women's tournament was another hit yesterday, with the ladies coming in & battling for dart board supremecy!

1st & 2nd place was a battle to the end between queen seat holder, Angela L. Jackson & Briana Cantrell. The games went back & forth & Briana won the first set. The final set was played to game 3 as well with Briana pulling off the double dip victory! Great work to both of you ladies, you shot great all day!

3rd place was earned by Danielle Pope, who also beat her daughter Keeley Ritch, a tough assignment in any tournament! In 4th place Dani Litton-Brown came through in the right moments to earn a bit of cash too!

Briana -$100, Angela -$70, Danielle -$40 & Dani -$30, great work to all of the ladies that came & threw yesterday! I believe Angela is the closest to claiming her 6 tournament entries for her free entry at the end of the year, with 5 so far! Keep coming back ladies, get in the game!

Bri had a great overall day too, being chosen to throw for mystery triple, at $69 a dart. She hit one & got that cash as well! Our other finals opponent earned herself the 50/50 pot on the day as well. Both women left out of the Barberton Civi Club with some extra cash for their pockets!

Thank you to all of the ladies for coming out & joining in the festivities. Hopefully, we will see our regulars get back to it next month too & keep it growing!
