Congratulations to this year’s League Champion! Incredibly clutch bowling down the stretch to get the job done!
Another great year for SNR! Thank you to all of our teams, love hanging out with this crew! Look forward to continuing to grow the league for next year!
Special shout out to Missie Campano - we appreciate all of the work she put in every week to run our 50/50 raffles and Jackpot games!
We’ll put together Prize Money, year long performance recap, and league accounting shortly, expected over the next two weeks, we’ll post those dates/times here and text team captains when everything is ready.
Thank you for being a part of this special group and for another fantastic year!
We look forward to seeing everyone again in the fall!

Hey all! Only two weeks left in the season!
This is a reminder that the bowling alley requires everyone to be paid in full on week 15 (March 27th). Our final week of bowling (week 16) will be April 10th.
If you typically pay $18 per week you should pay $36 this coming week. If you are behind from being out week 14 please make sure to catch up on ALL payments the next week of bowling on March 27th.
Thank you!

Teams,
As a reminder, tomorrow is our last night of bowling for the season. Please feel free to bring your favorite baked goods/light snacks to celebrate another year of SNR. I know we had a tumultuous start but appreciate you all sticking in this year and we already have a few teams locked in to grow the league back out again for the fall.
As always, if there are any questions, let me know!

Teams,
As a reminder, teams should be paid in full this week as there only two weeks left in our season. Please plan accordingly to satisfy payment envelopes this week so that we can be paid in full with the bowling alley for the final week.
Please text me with any questions.

SNR League,
I know there is some concern about the weather but as of now the bowling alley plans to be open and we do plan on bowling tonight. If anything changes we’ll post it here first and try to contact team captains as necessary but without serious travel bans or the threat of additional severe storm weather, freezing rain, sleet, etc. this seems to just be a good ole Lake effect snow dump; I see no reason to cancel for tonight. I trust this isn’t anyone’s first time driving in the white stuff 😉
Please be careful coming in, I understand many are driving from different areas that are hit harder than others so we’ll extend reasonable courtesy to teams or team members that are a little late tonight because of the weather.
Questions or concerns - please call my cell.

Be safe! See you all tonight!

SNR Teams - Reminder for tomorrow if you’d like to participate.
$20 limit on any gifts, keep snacks light, let’s try to avoid anything that needs crock pots or Bunsen burners 🙂
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Teams Returning to Spins for SNR, we will resume our original posted schedule tomorrow. Shadow Balls at 6:45 and bowling at 7. Same price, $18 per bowler each week. Really, there are no other changes than just moving to a house that we can trust to properly administer our league.
If there are any teams on the fence or that make a last minute decision to come with us to Spins, they will be prepared to add teams on the fly should anyone show up that hasn’t confirmed with myself or Christine already.
Again, to teams both new and old, I apologize for putting this league in jeopardy and for the poor experience thus far, I made the decision to move our league and take full responsibility for that lapse in judgment.
For the teams that stay, I genuinely hope things at Apollo improve and wish you the best of luck this year.
For those moving with us, I’m excited to be moving back to a house that I know will respect our business and run our league with integrity and professionalism and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow night to “Re-Begin” our season.
Again, for anyone that has questions or is on the fence about moving and would like to chat, please reach out directly to me - 330-618-7984.
Good Luck and Good Bowling!
KH.

***From the Desk of the President***
Teams,
Both old and new, this message applies to all teams in the Friday Night SNR league at Apollo.
I was hopeful when returning to Apollo this year that we would be able to enjoy it as much as the several years we bowled at old “Turkeyfoot.” I was excited to bring the activity to a local small business. Unfortunately, we are at an impasse with ownership going forward and we are moving the league to Spins Bowl in Akron. This is not a decision I take lightly as we had several new teams join this year and it certainly doesn’t make anyone’s life easier and will undoubtedly create an unnecessary fracture in what should have been a nice year of growth for our league.
That being said, this ownership group has turned out to be utterly unprofessional, unreasonable, and unprepared to host leagues effectively to a point that I cannot in good faith support their effort going forward. They’ve proven to be incompetent and unable to complete the most rudimentary of House operations. If I can’t trust them to do the bare minimum for our league, I shudder to think of what the next shoe to drop may be. What else are they unprepared for? What other responsibility might they shirk in the future because they simply “don’t want to do it.”
Frankly, with leadership and administration at this incredibly low level of acumen and service, I’m not even confident that this place will keep their doors open long enough to complete our league and we’ve already been through that in that particular house once. In 30 years of bowling in leagues this is without a doubt the most poorly run professional establishment I have ever seen, by an exponential margin.
Honestly, I’m embarrassed that I took the action to move our league there. I got caught up in the idea of what it could be and the expectations of others rather than make a more practical, conservative decision that was in the best interest of the league.
For those of you who knew my father, Big Ken, know that he would have never stood for the tomfoolery, shenanigans, and lies that were aimed at making their unpreparedness appear to be standard operating procedure.
Thus I’ve made the decision to move to a House that I’m confident can carry out all the necessary functions of a bowling alley and will respect and appreciate our business.
Craig and Kati will continue to run a league at Apollo for teams that wish to stay. We’re not telling anyone what to do but we would be happy to have as many teams as possible come with us.
We have a number of teams already coming with us to Spins, if you would like to join us, please reach out ASAP and let me know so we can make accommodations for additional teams.
Thanks and good bowling!

***RETURNING TEAMS***
Happy Bowling Season!
Please try to have your Teams show up by 630 tonight for league meeting and org. Typically Shadow balls would start at 645 with bowling to start at 7 so the more people we can get to show up a little early to discuss league rules, sanction, officer votes etc the better chance we have of starting on time. I know some teams had already reached out as they either cannot make it week 1 or were trying to bowl out week 1, this is fine, we will discuss with your teams upon their return during week 2.
Thanks everyone! Look forward to another successful season!
Don’t forget —-we are bowling at Apollo 3, Old “Turkeyfoot”… if you’re looking for us at Spins, you’ll be sad because we won’t be there!
