Farewell, St. Louis! We’re heading home with our heads high and preparations for next season already in motion.
The Banana Boyz kicked off the final day with some tough scores, but they showed incredible resilience—closing out the week with a season-high score of 317 with Ancient Gears from Shanghai, China! They finished 40th out of 85 teams in their division, maintaining a strong average of 199.25.
After the matches, the team enjoyed exploring the venue before heading to The Dome for the World Finals. It was an inspiring sight to see two elementary teams clear the field for a perfect score! We ended the trip with the iconic "changing of the game" reveal, and it’s safe to say the Banana Boyz are ready to LEVEL UP for next year.
Thank you all for the support and for cheering them on from home!

It’s pretty special to have both Blow the Budget and the Banana Boyz representing Northeast Ohio at the highest level of competition. Two teams, one region, and a whole lot of talent, hard work, and pride being showcased on the world stage.

The first full day in St. Louis was full of fun, several firsts, and some unexpected twists, but thankfully no twisters. We began the day at the Gateway Arch with a trip to the top to view the city from 630 ft in the air. We then caught the Metro to Union Station where we tackled the St. Louis Ropes Course. We finished just in time for a tornado warning so we had to shelter for 45 minutes. Next, stop The Pitch for lunch where we had some amazing food and yet another trip to a neighboring hotel basement for another tornado warning. The last stop was the City Museum for some pinball, climbing, and caving. Competition begins tomorrow!
