New instructor and schedule changes coming in hot! 🔥

Starting July 14th, will be teaching two classes every Friday:

All Levels Lyra from 5:45-7 PM
All Levels Hammock from 7:15-8:30 PM

Didi is really excited to begin teaching for EDP Akron and we are equally excited to have her!

This means that this Monday, July 3rd, will be the last day to take classes with Bridget on Mondays. We hope to see you there!

We’ve heard your requests and we are here to tell you we are adding an Exotic Basework class to the EDP Akron weekly roster!

Starting July 5th, the Pre-Int/Intermediate class on Wednesday will be transitioning over into Exotic Basework with . Join her from 7:30-8:30 PM, bring your heels and your kneepads, and let’s get low, slinky, and sexy! 🔥

This class is suitable for levels Elementary and up! Please ask if unsure of your level!

Meet Maribel! . 💜

Maribel has been doing aerial arts since September 2018. Her journey began with Lyra, or aerial hoop. Although her true loves are metal bars Lyra and pole, she dabbles in other aerial apparatuses.

Maribel is a certified instructor in aerial hammock/sling and Lyra. Maribel trains yearly at NECCA.

Random fact: when not in the air, you can find her playing with her two kitties and obsessively photographing them. 🐱

Rachel is one of the owners of and now EDP Akron. She has extensive teaching experience and an impressive array of certification credentials, from Flexibility to multiple forms of BUTI Movement. She is also a Master Trainer for the Instructor Training Program as well as a Competition Coach. She has a deep passion for the aerial arts and aims at providing a stellar class environment that will challenge any student. ❤️‍🔥

Outside of the arts, Rachel enjoys spending time with her three cute cats and cooking her baby boy, due June 2023. ☀️

Meet !

Emily has been with Ecole de Pole Cleveland for quite some time, and is an advanced student.
Emily is an Ecole de Pole Certified Beginner/Elementary pole instructor and has her Intermediate instructor certification on the horizon.
Outside of pole, Emily is a certified yoga instructor, a classical vocalist, owns two furry felines, and loves to travel, although wishes she could do more traveling.

New Instructor Highlight!

Bridget ran away to Birds Eye View Circus in Toledo back in 2016 where she practiced silks, lyra, hammock, trapeze, and tightwire. She has been teaching hammock and Lyra for two years. Bridget really loves exploring ways to make aerial fun and accessible to everyone and encouraging her students to enjoy their journey.

Outside of aerial, she’s a bit of a nerd who plays DND and does digital art. She lives in an old haunted farmhouse with her husband Dominic, their Corgi Pippin, a one-eyed cat named Patches, and 2 rabbits named Waldo and Jack. 🐰

Here we have !

Jessica discovered pole in October 2020 when she needed a distraction from her husband’s cancer diagnosis. As a former collegiate cross country and track and field athlete, pole was a completely new experience and way to move for her, but she fell in love instantly!

She started with EDP in January 2022 and shortly after got her Beginner/Elementary Pole Certification and started teaching classes. She is a Buti Yoga, Bands, Sculpt, & Hot Core instructor and 200hr CYT. Jessica lives on the east side with her (in remission!) husband, two kids, two dogs, one rabbit, nearly 30 chickens, and a Sebastopol goose named Daniel.

Macara started taking pole classes two years ago and fell in love. Then, she discovered her passion for aerial hammock. Soon, she was teaching and became Certified in both Aerial Hammock and in Pole Level 1/2 with the Xpert Program. Since then she has worked in multiple studios in Northeast Ohio and will soon be receiving her 200 YTT Certification with the Yoga Alliance.

Macara has had the opportunity to perform on the Lyra and hammock and is excited at the positive prospects that aerial dance is making in the community. She is happy to share her energy and dance flows to those interested in starting their fitness journey with one of her fun classes!

Welcome to the stage !

Nicole is one of our advanced students at EDP Cleveland and has been active her whole life. The real question is what sport hasn’t she tried? 😂 As a previous collegiate pole vaulter and Olympic weightlifter, her new passion is pole fitness. She is beginner certified through X-Pole and has been teaching classes for over a year. She also has competition experience and placed 2nd at PSO Great Lakes 2022 in Championship Level 3.

Outside of fitness, Nicole works in the fashion industry with luxury accessories. ⏱️💍

Next up is ! 🪐

Meg is one of the owners of EDP CLE and EDP Akron. She has been poling since 2015, has placed multiple times at different competitions, both with PCS and PSO, and is a Master Trainer for the Instructor Certification Program. Meg teaches both nationally and internationally, has extensive teaching credentials, and dabbles with other circus arts such as partner acrobatics and handbalancing. She specializes in static dynamic pole elements and fast spin transitions.

Outside of the circus arts, Meg loves to travel, write, and play video games.

Meg will be teaching two weekly classes at EDP Akron:
