High Hopes Equestrian Center is run and owned by Fiona Lindsay Delfino. Fiona has won many championships in Carriage Driving, and has recieved both her NARHA Registered Level Certifcation and her Riding for the Disabled Association, Incorporating Carriage Driving, Able bodied Driver Certification, these are just a few of the certifications that she has recieved. Now just recently graduated from college, she is willing to travel within Central Florida to those who want their horses worked in carriage driving or those who want lessons.

[05/31/19]   Starting Saturday, June 8th High Hopes Equestrian Center will have new policies in affect. Clients will now be able to book appointments through Facebook. The policies are as follows:

1. Business hours are the following:

Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Fridays and Saturdays: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Please no phone calls, texts or Facebook messages outside of business hours, unless it is an emergency.

2. If you want to schedule a lesson please do so either by TEXT or by the calendar on our page. Lessons must be scheduled 48 hours prior to the time the client would like a lesson.

3. If you need to cancel your lesson, please give 24 hours notice.

4. If trainer is traveling to show there is a $15 dollar additional charge to regular lesson prices.

5. Lesson and full time training prices will increase November 1st, 2019.

ThumbsUp Riding School

Looking for a place to board your equine friend? Learn a new sport? Or have something for your child to do after school or on weekends?

Then look no further than ThumbsUp Riding School. ThumbsUp is located in Alachua, FL just north of Gainesville, and ten miles off of I-75.

Full board is offered, weanling training, and lessons. The farm is also open to the horse community for schooling. The farm hosts monthly schooling days free of charge. Keep an eye out on our page for upcoming schooling days.

The property boasts 40 acres, most of it in pasture, with a GGT Fiber footing driven dressage ring, grass jumping pad, and a cross country jumping course in process. As well as a covered arena. Our farm manager/assistant instructor offers carriage driving training and driving lessons as well. We are conveniently located just north of Gainesville, FL and I-75. We also have pasture and stalls available for layovers for those travelling or visiting from out of state.

Our next schooling day is Saturday April 27th. Driving starts at 9:30 and will run until 12:30. Potluck lunch around 1:00. Helmets and current coggins required. Please RSVP by Thursday April 25th to Fiona @ (352) 246 0998. There will hazards and a cones course.

If you are not able to make the schooling day, it is $15/per horse to come and school on a non schooling day. Please give us 48 hours notice prior to arrival. We look forward to seeing everyone at the schooling day!

ThumbsUp Riding School boasts 40 acres, most of it in pasture, with a GGT Fiber Footing driven dressage ring, grass jumping pad, and a cross country jumping course in progress.

Our farm offers board, riding lessons, weanling training, and layovers for those who are traveling to the show venues South or North of here. We're located just north of Gainesville, Florida in Alachua Florida and 10 miles off of I75.

Starting July 1st, farm manager Fiona, will be taking in horses for driving training and offering driving lessons.

We are also offering the facility for day schooling. If you are interested in schooling please give us 48 hours notice and there is a $15 charge per horse.

We are also doing open schooling days one Saturday a month for no charge. The next one is Saturday June 23rd from 10 am to 1 pm.
