On Sunday, February 25 Dave Bacon and Eric Zilbert will present a lecture on basic seamanship at the Oakland Yacht Club. Given their immense amount of sailing experience and their ability to communicate it to an audience this will be a most interesting event. We will meet at the yacht club at about 9:00 AM for breakfast followed by the talk in the Regatta Room at 10:00 AM.

From: Judy Blumhorst HydeSailsDirect.com :
I just received confirmation from Commodore Doug Perry and the Port Captain that the Potter Yachters are invited to stay at the EYC guest dock Friday-Sat. (or up to 5 days). There's a Cinco de Mayo party!
There will be no charge for overnight berthing at the guest dock for members of the club who make advance reservations. It may be necessary to raft up, depending on the number and size of boats. Keys to the baths are available, with deposit. Fly your PY burgees,
I encourage everyone to patronize the bar and restaurant in return for the courtesy . Drinks and food are very reasonably priced, and the food is awesome!

Tents in the wind... the aerodynamic-looking one (with the rain-fly held tautly to all corners and with lines to the sides) barely moved. The other with integral bungee cords to hold it down... well, it alternated between pushing the tent down and flying like a sail. Say, that might just be an inexpensive option for a DIY code-zero!
Having fun on the beach at Tomales Bay before the wind got rowdy...
