We are Alameda CrossFit located at Bladium Sports & Fitness Club in Alameda, CA. Alameda CrossFit has two boxes at this location; one indoor and one outdoor. We offer a wide variety of classes including your standard metabolic conditioning CrossFit classes, CrossFit Olympic Lifting classes, CrossFit striking classes, CrossFit Kids, CrossFit Fundaments for Beginners, Fit For Life (fitness program for Seniors) and CrossFit Express (30 minute class). Alameda CrossFit became and affiliate in November 2010 with the member population consistently expanding ever since. Members pay $165/month with a 1-year contract or $175/month month-to-month for unlimited access to both CrossFit and Bladium. Ladies and gentleman, the winner of our 5th and final week Spirit of the Open Award goes to @megstagram6! M.Rod wasn’t thrilled about doing the Open this season (we obviously guilt tripped her in), but each week you could see her spirit building a little bit more. On week 5, she was willing to help out and judge even on days she wasn’t testing, came with her crazy Ninja Turtle socks, was supportive of other members, and may have even cracked a smile a few times. 😜 Ok, she definitely did. I even heard her laugh, which told me she may have actually been enjoying herself! 😱 Anyway, in all seriousness, we were proud of the progressive change over the five weeks and we wanted her to know that it didn’t go unnoticed.
