Mountain Valley Dance Studio is a Ballet school that was started over 40 years ago in Alamosa, Colorado by Beverly Mozzetti. We love to dance and empower children to be their best!
Operating as usual
Well, we almost made it to the end of our second session. With one week to go I have received word that we must close as per the “Orange Level” guidelines. Hopefully we will be at a safer level when we are set to return in January. We wish you all a safe holiday season.
All classes today (10/26) are cancelled due to weather.
❄️❄️❄️Stay warm and safe!❄️❄️❄️
This coming week is the last week for Session 1 classes. We have had a great 6 weeks!
Session 2 still has available spots; registration will be open until October 3rd.
Classes for this evening (9/9) are cancelled. Stay home, be warm and safe. No ZOOM classes either as the power at the dance studio has been going in and out all day.
So happy to be back in the studio!
Quick reminder that enrollment for Fall Classes will end today at 8pm.
(Session 2 enrollment will remain open until October 3rd)
Enrollment is now available for Fall classes!
Please register for only one session (or break up your schedule between the two) so we can give everyone an opportunity to take class. Thank you!
Also, a reminder of the safety guidelines we must follow:
- All students must wear a mask
- Only students are allowed in the building
- All students entering will have their temperature taken; if their temp is over 100.4 they will be sent home.
- Hand washing and sanitizing is required upon entering and exiting the facility.
- Students cannot wait in the building if they have a break between classes.
- Students must bring their own water bottle as the water fountain is unavailable at this time.
Thank you for your support! Excited to be back dancing!
We are FINALLY coming back! Online registration for Students is now available. Please visit our website and go to the register page. Click the pink “register” to set up your parent/student portal. You will be able to enroll for classes on August 1st. https://mountainvalleydance.com/register.html

Well, I have a confession...I told my seniors I would be posting their moments alphabetically but, when I tried to write Edynn’s I couldn’t. I cried then and I’m crying now. Edynn has been dancing since before she was born. I would be taking class while pregnant with her and would feel her dancing as well. This is truly a hard moment as she asked me when she was 7 if “The Wizard of Oz” could be her senior show. She was Toto at the time and I saw a blossoming of her love of the stage. Now she is a senior and I tried to make her wish come true...a cruel reality that I cannot always give her or the other seniors the show they deserve. Edynn will be attending UNC-Greeley in the fall as a Musical Theater major. Please know my angel that I am so proud of you and while I cannot give you this moment back I will be there to support you in the many moments to come. I Love You! @ Mountain Valley Dance Studio
Emily Wilson started dancing at Mountain Valley Dance Studio when she was 4years old. She is a joy! She has such positivity that you cannot help but be joyful around her. Emily will be attending CSU-Ft. Collins in the fall in their honors program and plans to pursue a degree in animal science. She is going to be a fantastic veterinarian and I most definitely will be taking my animals to see her in the future! @ Mountain Valley Dance Studio
Nicole Miller started dancing at Mountain Valley Dance when she was 7 years old. She came to the studio wide-eyed and ready to learn. I have found that this is Nicole’s approach to everything she is involved with. She is always ready to work hard and immerse herself into the tasks at hand. She is ambitious and will do well in whatever she sets her mind upon. Nicole will be attending CSU-Fort Collins and, as she was accepted into their honors program, she will major in mathematics and see what opportunities come her way. I know her life will be full of opportunities and she will be successful in any endeavor. @ Mountain Valley Dance Studio
LeiLani has been dancing with Mountain Valley Dance since she was 4 years old. I love her elegance and grace not only on stage but off as well. She brings a dignified quality to her dancing which I believe comes from her empathetic nature. This quality will serve her well as she attends UCCS in the fall as a pre-physician assistant/ biology major. LeiLani we look forward to your visits in the future and wish you well as you head towards your dreams. @ Mountain Valley Dance Studio
Kristen David has been dancing at Mountain Valley Dance since she was 4 years old. With two older sisters she has always been a part of our studio family even before she can remember. Kristen I love your wonderfully silly spirit and huge heart. You are always there to boost up the younger dancers and ready to make us laugh. We will miss you dearly and hope that you will visit whenever you can. Kristen is going to be attending Mesa University and hopes to study mechanical engineering. I know wherever Kristen’s path takes her she will work hard and continue to lift others up. @ Mountain Valley Dance Studio
This was supposed to be our show week 😢 And as our graduating seniors will not be getting a typical curtain call I will be featuring one amazing lady each day this week.
Chenoa Candy has been dancing and Mountain Valley Dance since she was 4 years old. I have watched her grow into a kind hearted, hardworking lady! My favorite thing about Chenoa is her giggle...it always brings a smile to my face. It is such a burst of joy that you can’t help but giggle along. Chenoa will be attending TSJC in the fall as a nursing student. I am so glad she will be able to continue dancing with us and that I will be able to hear many more giggles in the near future. Chenoa you are so dear and we wish you all the best! @ Mountain Valley Dance Studio
