🩰Our next Senior Spotlight is Caroline Rancourt!🎉 Caroline has been dancing at SABB for all 13 years of her ballet experiences! 🎓

🎓In the fall, she will attend Quinnipiac University, where she plans to study health sciences. Outside of dance, Caroline loves to hang out with friends and family, travel, and attend sports events.

🎓"Dance has left a significant impact on my life as it has strengthened my confidence and helped build my self-esteem. Dance has also taught me "perseverance by sticking with it no matter what, throughout my whole 13 years of dancing."

🩰Caroline's favorite memory: "My favorite memory is running through the water fountain after every recital when I was younger!" Her favorite step is plie "because it build up strength and is necessary for a lot of other steps."

🌸Caroline's advice for younger dance students would be...The advice I have for young dancers is to have fun with it and stick with dance because you don't know how fast it goes by! Congratulations Caroline! We wish you the best and will miss having you in class here at SABB!

🩰Summer Dance Spotlight: Grace! Grace will be attending Nutmeg Ballet's Summer Intensive for a second year.

☀️We caught up with Grace as she prepares for her ballet filled summer below!
"SABB helped me prepare for my audition by having a variety of guest teachers and performance opportunities. Junior Company helped me learn large amounts of choreography quickly. I am most looking forward to ending my summer with a big burst of dance since its senior year and I won’t have as many opportunities to be in the studio."

Summer Spotlight: Cenzia! Cenzia will be attending Cincinnati Ballet's Collegiate Summer Intensive.

We caught up with Cenzia as she prepares for her summer of dance.
🩰Is this your first summer dance intensive away, or have you danced away in the past? "I have gone to several intensives away in the past, including ones at Paul Taylor in NYC and Nutmeg Ballet!"

🩰How did your classes at SABB help prepare you for your audition?
"I'm extremely grateful to the teachers at SABB for providing me with such a good foundation and consistent training through the years! It's something I can take with me going into any future dance experiences and summer intensives I attend!

🩰What are you most looking forward to about this experience?
"Growing my technique, especially in regards to pointe, meeting other dancers and delving into the process of learning choreography for variations and repertory!
