The program will be broken into two 6 week sessions that will build on each previous performance. We'll be using a variety of equipment to help build your foundation and expand your training catalog. In addition to class, you'll have your own training template that you'll learn to personalize during our time together. We'll discuss best practices for performance and fat loss, covering:

Additional nutrition services to optimize your individual results are also available.

We're capping registration at 10 participants to offer the highest quality experience. Class will be led by to two of our finest instructors to deliver individual attention as needed. We'll meet in the KT parking lot at 8 Nolan Rd. and will be outside maintaining social distance for the duration of the class. Bring a towel, water bottle and be prepared to WORK!

Each 6 week session $180

Weight fluctuations

So you’re in a calorie deficit, it’s been a week and theres no weight loss. In fact you gained weight! Don’t freak out.

Weight fluctuations are NORMAL. As nice as it would be to see the scale drop every week, it’s probably not going to happen that way.

Give in to the process, don’t give up.
Since you’ve established a calorie goal:
Are you within your calorie budget?
Did you log accurately?
Did you maintain regular activity?

If so the weight (not fat) represented on the scale is likely one or more of the following:

- water 💧that you’ve increased/decreased or retained via:
- carbs 🧇 influencing fluid levels,
- sugar 🍭 (all sugars are carbs see above)
- sodium 🧂 acting like carbs
- food 🍔 waiting to be digested
- waste 💩 waiting to leave

Common Food Log Mistakes

Here’s a few of the more common mistakes that have a huge impact on your tracking:

1. Over estimating calories/activity
- everyone tends to estimate high
2. Including exercise calories from an app
- there’s no way the app nor your Fitbit can tell you how many calories you’re actually burning
3. Not tracking beverages
- it’s easy to drink calories and easier to forget to log them
4. Not accounting for butter/oils/sauces etc
- the food was cooked with something, something is making it taste good (I hope)
5. Logging the wrong food
- many labels on the app are randomly submitted by inexperienced people trying to help
6. Logging the wrong amount of food
- measuring is a skill. The more you work at it the better you’ll get
7. Mixed foods/Recipes
- basically a combination of 4,5,6, but also, in most ethnic home cooking. How many of y’all actually measure the oil in the pot before you add other ingredients 😄?

Building Better Habits

Boiled chicken and steamed broccoli isn’t really my thing so we’re planning meals this week. I like structuring meals as Protein > Fruits&Veggies > Grains. Filling in the blanks seems to be easier for me.

On the list: Rice and beans (a staple in our home), Baked Mac&Cheese, Chicken Tikka, Turkey Burgers and more! I guess I’ll throw veggies in there somewhere 😅
