National Daughters Day! My favorite.

My dream was to have 2 girls but I never shared it. Instead I waited until they were born to even know if they were girls or boys.

My first surprise was Hunter. My “follow the rules”, always wants to make me proud, and strives to improve everything she does. And she has a funny side she shares with those closest to her. And her impersonations are always spot on 😄. She makes me smile from deep within.

My second surprise was Piper. My angel from heaven, teaching me the beauty of patience, faith, and compassion. She’s funny as heck 😂, she fears nothing, and she has a spirit that cares deeper for others than herself.

Together these girls are my BEST dream come true. Sounds corny but we 3 have the most amazing life together. Girl squad 💕

Getting my head around our trip to Turks. These last years have been prioritizing finding our home, normalcy, and calm. Vacay was not on the list. That’s life sometimes.

But this felt like a rebirth for the girls and I. Totally new future.

What an amazing memory! I’ll forever remember Hunter being all of 12. Jumping in waves endlessly, constant bumping of her volleyball, her adventure in SNUBA diving and parasailing, and her ease in travel.

Pipes social as ever, pool loving, salt water hater, and excitement for the sesame characters. She also loved to bury her head in waterfalls.

🥰Both girls were the easiest travelers and my best adventure buddies. Way to go my sweet Meracle girls. Until next year. ✈️🌎

Just did some pre vacay spending. I grabbed a cute maxi dress, bathing suit cover up and sunglasses. Is it Turks time yet??? It’s been foreverrr since I felt this confident. And it’s also been years since we have had a vacation. I’m so ready to marry the two. Confidence, meets vacay, and my two little ladies!! 👏🏻🥰🛫⛱️🏝️

Last minute, unplanned, just jump in the car and go kind of day.

Life gets busy and sometimes we don’t see each other enough.

Yet this week we managed hours of phone calls AND a road trip?!

The best day full of mountain air, burrata, melting ice cream, and learning how insane the Ironman actually is.

Day trip champions at it again today!

You know those day trips that just fill your heart up?

Me and the girls LOVE our adventures – no hotel to worry about, just wake up, grab my energy drink, Hunter gets her Starbucks, we grab some donuts, and hit the road. Half the fun is honestly the drive itself… singing at the top of our lungs to Teddy Swims and Megan Moroney today.

We went to The Wild Animal Park out near Syracuse and oh my gosh… hands down one of the BEST day trips we’ve ever done. 🦒🦁🐯🐻

If you ever go, here are my take 👇🏻

➡️ We chose to walk around instead of doing the drive-through, and it was perfect. We got to really see the animals up close.

➡️ The three of us for tickets, and the girls got cups of feed, carrots for the giraffes, and the train ride – all for under $100. 👏🏻

➡️ The animals were amazing – we saw lions, cheetahs, tigers, black bears, grizzlies, panthers, kangaroos, alligators… I can’t even remember them all.

➡️ The whole place was SO clean!!

➡️ It wasn’t crowded at all and there’s a little spot to grab food and eat lunch while you’re walking around.

➡️ The staff was honestly so sweet and helpful – you can tell they care about the animals and everyone there.

We had the BEST day and are already planning to go back. 🙌🏻

And if you’re near Albany like us, it’s only about two hours – super easy drive for a day trip.

If you’re looking for something fun with the kids this summer, highly recommend it.

“It’s just part of getting older.”

Thats what I was told

But truthfully?
I was hiding.

Hiding from the camera.
Hiding in oversized clothes.
Hiding behind a smile that said “I’m fine”… when I wasn’t.

Everyone was saying to embrace the changes — but I felt like a fraud.

Because deep down, I didn’t love how I looked.
I didn’t love how exhausted I felt.

I didn’t love missing out on memories because I couldn’t find anything in my closet that made me feel like me.

I kept the towel on a little longer after showers.
I’d scroll through my camera roll and realize I wasn’t in a single photo.

And the saddest part? I thought this was just how life had to be now.

Until I learned that you don’t have to starve to see change.

You don’t have to eliminate foods or punish your body into shrinking.

You can fuel it.

And give it what it needs to finally let go of the weight — physically and emotionally.

Me and my two girls… and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Being a single mom means I get to make the holidays feel special in our own way—and that’s something I’m really proud of.

Today we made Easter extra sweet—laughing, making memories, and soaking it all in.

At 6am we were running up and down stairs to find where the baskets were hid. Hearing the girls do “basket hauls” while they showed me everything. Cooking up “egg in a hole”, while making brownies, and not worried about the mess of it all.

It’s not about perfection, or the size of our family. We may have just 3 of us, but we make it feel stronger than ever.

Our little Meracle girls squad is full of love, and I’m so grateful for every bit of it.

Easing Back In—Treadmill Style 🚶‍♀️🔥

You know that feeling after you’ve been sick for a week and you’re finally ready to move your body again—but also kinda scared to push too hard and end up right back on the couch? Yeah, that was me. 😅

I knew I needed something that would wake my body up without totally wrecking me, so I went for a strength-based treadmill workout instead of sprints or crazy intervals. And let me tell you—it was PERFECT. 🙌 I got in 60 minutes of solid movement, worked up a sweat, and felt strong without overdoing it.

If you’re looking for a way to ease back in after being sick, feeling run down, or just needing something a little different—try this:

🟡 TREADMILL STRENGTH WALK – 60 MINS

🏔 Minutes 0-3: Incline 3% | Speed 3.0 mph
🏔 Minutes 3-45: Keep speed at 3.0 mph, but increase incline by 0.5% every 5 mins
🏔 Minutes 45-55: Start declining by 5% every 2 mins
🏔 Minutes 55-60: Cool down at Incline 3% | Speed 2.5 mph

Im always surprised how small changes will make such a big difference when I actually committed to them.

I’ve been feeling so good lately. Jumping back in with the M2M Tribe after the holidays, focusing on movement, protein, and hydration—it’s made such a difference. Down 5 lbs this month, but honestly, it’s more about just feeling like myself again.

Something about 2025 feels big, like it’s bringing a fresh start in more ways than one. And when I look back at this past week, I realize the little things that made all the difference:

✔️ Pre-planning workouts so I wasn’t scrambling
✔️ Being intentional with food so I could enjoy some extra French toast & a good steak dinner without guilt
✔️ Keeping track of the things that actually matter—not just going through the motions but really checking in with myself

And now, my goal for this week? Get my butt back in the gym. I’ve been loving my walks and at-home movement, but there’s something about the energy at the gym that just hits different. Three workouts this week—hold me to it!
