Tournament weekend is here!

Games kick off Saturday morning at ACPHS Turf with a full day of rugby!

You are also invited to our alumni Mixer on Friday night (RSVP here: https://alumni.albanylaw.edu/s/977/21/1col.aspx?sid=977&gid=1&pgid=4668&content_id=6136 ) and a BBQ lunch after the championship game! Come watch, learn about rugby, and have some good food!

Next weekend is shaping up to be packed with fun! We’re kicking things off Friday with the Albany Law School Women’s Rugby Alumni Mixer. Then on Saturday, join us for the Women’s Tournament from 8 AM to 2 PM on the ACPHS turf, complete with a BBQ lunch! In the afternoon, we’ll be heading over to cheer on the men’s teams during their matches at South Bethlehem Town Park.

And don’t miss Sunday: the first-ever Juris Jamboree hosted by Albany Law BLSA, Women’s Rugby, and several other student groups. It’s going to be an unforgettable weekend!

Attention Women’s Rugby Players!

The 2025 William Watkins Memorial Tournament is just one month away, and we’re looking for social/B side teams to join us for a fun, laid-back day of rugby!

Date: Saturday, April 26, 2025
Location: ACPHS Field, Albany Law School
BBQ lunch from a local vendor, plus burgers and hot dogs after the final game!

This tournament is FREE, but we’re specifically looking for social teams (like our own squad of law students). If you’re not sure where you or your team fits skill-wise, just PM me, and I’ll clear up any confusion!

If you’re short on players, no worries—we’ll find space for a few stragglers to join teams and help fill the gaps! And if you just want to come out and join up, there’s plenty of space for you too! (Just PM me so you get all the details and I can confirm you have a spot to play!)

The Ms. Demeanors officially started our preseason training at BreakThru Boxing and Fitness led by Coach Curtis!! 💪🥊🏉 We are stoked to spend the next three months learning the art of boxing and getting stronger for the spring season! This gym also sponsors and helps train/ coach your favorite (and ours too) professional box lacrosse team the Albany FireWolves! 😎
