SIGN UP FOR EASTSHORE ALLIANCE TRYOUTS

We are excited to announce that our competitive tryouts for the 2023/24 season are open for registration

Eastshore Alliance FC is a brand new youth soccer club located in the East Bay of San Francisco, forged from two established clubs – Mavericks SC and Spurs FC.

Tryouts will be held between May 8th and June 4th

Players from Berkeley, El Cerrito, Albany, Richmond, San Pablo and the surrounding areas are invited to sign up and attend the tryout sessions.

After coming off the Las Vegas Mayor's Cup tourney finishing 2nd in the 72 team field, the Mavs 07NPL team opened the Spring season with a decisive 4-0 win!!!

With 2 goals from Dylan Knott, 1 from Jake Goetting, and 1 from Pablo Sweet Fuentes.

We look forward to seeing what this team can do!

Join us for a FUN Sunday morning that will get our players ready for the Spring Season! On Sunday February 26 from 10-11:30am, players from our older boys & girls state premier & NPL teams (2005-07) will be hosting soccer drill obstacle courses, coaching & personal feedback during 2v2s, and DONUTS!!!! for our younger players. This is not only a fundraiser, but also a great way to kick off the spring club season and dust off the cobwebs by getting some time on the pitch before practices start.

Open to all MiniMavs, players from 2014’s through 2008’s, and their friends, siblings/cousins, or neighbors who might like to join them!

The older players are raising funds for their upcoming travel tournaments to Sweden, Las Vegas, Phoenix, SoCal, and more! So you’re helping a good cause as they chip in to make their next-level soccer experiences more financially viable.

Mavs/Spurs College Pathway Program: 2022

1. Mavs/Spurs All Club College Pathway Presentation: 9/12/22
The nuts and bolts of the college process for soccer players. Where can I play? How do I get recruited? What do I need to be doing on the academic side to get there? A quick peak into the process, this overview is suitable for all ages teams and families in the club.

2. Mavs/Spurs Coach Education Session: 10/26/22 (you were there in all of your glory!) - this one doesn't count for the college pathway.

3. Mavs Coach Education Meeting: Meeting with the coaches in the older, showcase attending age groups to discuss contact with college coaches and tourney prep for players.

4. Age Group Specific Workshops: Korematsu School: 10/28/22 & 11/9/22
Classroom sessions where players will start building their college lists, researching schools and programs, and learn how to contact college coaches. We will strategize about the different ways to get exposure to college coaches through ID camp, tourneys, showcases, and the highlight video. Each player should bring a device (smart phone, iPad, or laptop) in addition to something to take notes (pen/paper or notetaking on your device). Come prepared to work, question, and engage…not just listen!

5. Middle School College Pathway Workshop: TBA Winter/Spring

6. Game/Player Evaluations: At the coach’s request JT attends games and assists coaches in evaluating their player’s potential level of college play.
