Good afternoon,
I am the Director of Curatorial Affairs at the Albany Museum of Art. We will be hosting our annual Heart of Albany Festival (formerly called Chalkfest when it was downtown) this coming November 16.
Our theme this year for the festival is skateboarding and extreme sports. Many museum staff members are familiar with the BMX track and community who gathered at Chehaw. It's been some years since I've been back to Chehaw, but I wanted to ask if a delegation from this BMX community would consider coming out and possibly do demonstrations or simply show off BMX vehicles and have an info table/booth present at the event.
There are some varied hills and slopes in the rear of the museum, and we would be interested to see if they are viable hills to traverse with a BMX vehicle. If this is something you might be interested in, please let me know! I would love to hear back from you.
