We will miss you, Giant.

Steve “Giant” Gretsch was more than a longtime member and nearly 30-year board member of the Albany Golf Club. He was a fixture on the course he called home, a passionate golfer, and a true friend to so many of us. The fairways won’t feel the same without him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held this Saturday, September 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Seven Dolors Church in Albany. Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m. at the church. A celebration of life reception will follow at Shady’s Sunset Bay in St. Anna.

Please keep the Gretsch family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Multiple Sclerosis Society:
