Deerfield-Windsor School Cross Country/Track and Field

Charlotte Augenstein finished 2nd in the 1500m at this past weekend’s Portland Track Festival with a time of 4:18.59! Charlotte is currently running for The Loop Elite/adidas out of Austin, Texas.

Up early and working hard!

Summer training is cranking up, but Whatley will have the chance to race against some of the best runners in the state at the 2026 Peachtree Road Race in two weeks!

Congratulations to Whatley for ending his season last night at the RunningLane Championship with a new personal best and school record of 4:22.56 in the 1600m!

That's a wrap on another successful season! Our athletes closed out the year in Locust Grove this past weekend at the GIAA State Championship. The following athletes earned all-state honors:

Whatley Fountain: 2nd in 3200m, 4th in the 1600m, and 6th in the 800m. Whatley's time of 4:22 in the 1600m broke his own school record!

Boyd Po***ck: 3rd in the 110m hurdles

Boys 4x800m Relay(Jack Moore, Drew Dowdy, Daniel Roland, and Whatley Fountain): 5th place

Jack Pennington: 8th in the pole vault

Hallie Kay Wright: 5th in the 100m hurdles

Molly Starr: 6th in the high jump

Girls 4x800m Relay(Emily Rutledge, Sophie Logan, Maggie Collins, Sydney Daniel): 6th place
