Linn Benton Family Flyfishers

The Siletz River club trip was this week and there are fish in the river. I camped at Morgan Park in the rain and the fishing was great on Thursday. Bob Elliot joined me on Friday and the fishing slowed down with the sun, but we still caught a few fish.

We had a great trip to Dune Lake this week where a dozen flyfishers caught lots of trout. Loren Humphrey, pictured, lands a nice rainbow trout.

Thirty-five Linn Benton Family Flyfishers attended our picnic and flycasting evening at Timber Linn Park on Tuesday. Jeff Graham and Dwight Klemin brought a cadre of casting instructors to help improve our casting skills.

Seven Linn Benton Flyfishers fished Big Creek #2 in wind and rain last Thursday. Gene Stutzman caught lots of trout on a Brown and Olive Bu**er while Bob Elliot did well on his favorite Possie Bu**er.

Fly fishing was exceptionally good at Dune Lake where about twenty Linn Benton Family Flyfishers caught fish after fish. Gene Stutzman and Bob Elliot seemed to have fish on all the time while Lenny Moffo caught the largest trout of the trip.
