Founded by Matthew ‘Godfather’ Schatzer and Christopher ‘Ominous’ Infante, the team began as nothing more than a few friends who loved paintball too much to continue play it without structure. They began a search for motivated players who were willing to elevate the game through superior communication, strategy, and tactics, and wanted to dedicate themselves to a working as an effective team that makes a difference on every field on which they play. Fast forward two years and Blackout Protocol has made a major impact on the Mid-Atlantic scenario paintball community, and is synonymous with hard work and effective teamwork. Where we do play to win, our priorities are to champion good sportsmanship and safety above all else. We’ve become ambassadors of the sport and our sponsors, and have received accolades for the same in-person, through social media, and via feedback sent to our sponsors who were congratulated for selecting Blackout Protocol as a team representing their products! Blackout Protocol’s motto is simple: honor, loyalty, and respect. These are not mere words to us, rather qualities that we seek out and demand from our players, on and off the field. We demand that our players be loyal; that they follow orders to make whatever mission we are given a successful one. We demand respect; not only for each other and our teammates du jour, but also for any game’s opposing forces, the field’s staff, and respect for the rules.
