Beast Mountains Gravel Series

Thank you to everyone who came out for the ride today! We were able to get almost 100 lbs of food and raised $260 for the East Mountains Food Pantry!!

What a turn out for the first out of town Git-Sum gravel adventure! Once again Git-Sum threw a hell of a ride in epic terrain. If you haven't had a chance to go on one of their rides you are missing out!!

Hello Beast Mountains followers!
In the last two and a half years since I decided to start Beast Mountains Gravel there have been a lot of changes in my life. From changing careers not once but twice and reenrolling in school there was not much time for me to dedicate to this group.
The main point of starting this group was to help advance gravel riding and the community surrounding gravel riding and racing here in New Mexico.
While I still intend to throw a couple grassroots races hopefully focused in the East Mountains of Albuquerque, the goal having them start in August. That is still a long way away. Inspired by Russ McCoy and the GitSum Gravel rides, I will be hosting a monthly group ride on the last Sunday of the month.
These will be adventure rides, at an endurance pace. The goal of these rides will be to show riders some new routes and sights outside of Albuquerque that for some may be a rideable distance from their house.
I am excited to continue to meet new riders and catch up with old faces!
