Sartan Scuffle 2026 is shaping be bigger and better!!! We’re expecting some out of town guest next year!!!

Our 4 NMAA Championship finalist!!! You gentleman just set a few Pius records!!!! Couldn’t be more proud of this squad!!!!

-most Pius wrestlers in the championship finals in school history
-tied w/ Aztec for the school with the most finalist
-2 place tie for most champions at this years states tournament
-most team points Pius has ever scored at state
-high finish as a team in school history

The NMAA State Championships came to an end let’s just say St. Pius X School had a phenomenal showing! This was by far the our best state showing in school history as we finished 4th as a team having 4 Sartans wrestling for gold at the end of the night! We crowned 2 NMAA State Champions, had 2 more State Runner Ups and 3 more place on the backside! These Sartans left everything on the mat! Not only was this our best state showing but we also broke almost every school record for wrestling at SPX!!! We were also the top school from the Southern region as well!!!Congratulations to all of our Sartans who competed this weekend and represented our great school!!!

Please feel free to have a discussion in the comments below with your opinions! Dual season is over, we did our best to catch every one of them. Keep in mind at this point in the season, H2H’s are back and forth all season and sometimes the ranking difference comes from a loss the athlete has on their record to a unranked athlete or a common opponent that may have multiple wins against that athlete/common opponent etc.
