Four Corners Grand Prix — Day 2 — July 26, 2026

Huge thank you to and .racing for hosting such a great event! Same as day 1 but with different race classes… The format was 2.5 miles of roughly half motocross track and half flat off-road/enduro. We all loved it! Plus, the hosts are amazing people. 😊 And moto friends! Yay! 😀

27 raced for the first time in 20 years or so! He even got a hole shot. It didn’t last long but… We were proud of him! He had a solid first lap until he biffed it up a sandy hill — and fell again later. 😬 I had no idea where he was and started asking if he got called in. 😥 Good news - he survived the 40 min moto! The true goal. I forgot a photo of the results, however. 🤦‍♀️

840 finished 🥇 in 85cc 7-11 with a hole shot and hefty lead! He really stepped it up this weekend. It was amazing to watch! 🥹

Since it was soooo 🥵 and it would be fun, we decided to put 475 in 85cc 7-11 with big bro and our moto friend 736. This was a 10 am race vs. 1 pm for 65cc Open. Yes, please!!!

He has rode an 85cc a handful of times when a 65cc breaks and that’s all we have. So, this was a calculated risk. He is about the same weight as 840 so the suspension was just fine.

475 rode his little heart out! He went from last with a terrible start spinning a wheel to a solid and steady 4th. Then, he held on and made the pass for third just over half way and then again and … He kept it! It seemed like he was even catching 2nd. Becuase he was! Crazy!! In the end, he was 14 sec behind second place. 🥉 for his first 85cc race! 🙌

In the end, it was a SamBros Sandwich for 736. Good job, friend! 😊

Haven’t posted in a hot minute… We have been to Arizona 🌵 and various parts of New Mexico 🏜️. Happy kids. Happy dogs. Some sweet hole shots and motos have been won. Some silly mistakes. All in all… memories have been made. Not much more to say. 😊
