Gracie Barra New Mexico hosted another awesome seminar this time featuring our Brazilian Professors Tussa, Eduardo Silva, Lucas Alvarez Franco and Gabriel Abreu! Amazing turn out for our annual trunk or treat! We love seeing everyone come out in their costumes and have fun with us on the mats! Happy Halloween from the GB Westside family!

Join us Saturday October 26th for our annual Halloween Trunk or Treat! 🎃

There will be a costume contest for both kids AND coaches as well as a Trunk contest with prizes up for grabs!

9AM class for ages 3-9
10AM class for ages 10-15

At 9:45 we will do ONE group trunk or treat at the south end of the parking lot. Decorate your trunk and bring candy for your jiu-jitsu family!🥋

Calling all ladies ages 13 and higher! We will be having our annual women on the mats class Saturday, October 19th at 11am at our GB Rio Rancho location. This will be a great opportunity to come together as a team and introduce new friends to our jiujitsu family. It’s the best time of year in Albuquerque, New Mexico! Balloon Fiesta time! Come join us Saturday, October 5th at 6:45am on our back patio for the best view in town of the balloons at mass ascension. We love having everyone come together and enjoy the magic that is balloon fiesta. Bring some breakfast foods to share and enjoy the sunrise and balloons with your GB family.

Congratulations team on taking home second place at the Compnet Gi and No Gi Summer Championships! We are so incredibly proud of all our students who came out and did their best representing GB Westside.

It was our last day with Professor Zaza leading our team and we did it in spectacular fashion. We look forward to Professor Luis continuing his legacy and continuing to grow our academy.

Professor Zaza’s last Sunday rolls , we will miss you! Your home is always here , at GB Westside!

Here’s a few tips to help you make the most of our annual team bbq this Saturday!
Come fully dressed in your GB gi and rashguard for your class.
Bring something to drink because it will be hot and we want everyone to stay hydrated!
Feel free to bring chairs and/or a canopy to put outside. We will have part of the parking lot blocked off for the grill and games.
We will be providing hamburgers and hot dogs but you are welcome to bring a side dish to share.

Keep in mind that seating inside the academy during classes will be very limited.

We are very excited about this fun and family friendly event as we say farewell to Professor Amadeu. We hope to see you all there!

Attention team! We will be closed for all regular classes Thursday, July 4th. There will be an adult only live training at our Rio Rancho location from 9am to 11am.

We are so proud of all the kids who showed up in Dallas and gave it their all. We faced a few challenges through the day, but in the end, we had a great day on the mats. Dallas International is done, now onto NM summer compnet!
