Placement classes are for BRT's Academy for experienced dancers 9 and up. Auditions are for professionals 18 and older. Casting auditions for BRT’s “Nutcracker” and our spring story ballet, “The Glass Slipper”, will be held for all levels later.

Congratulations Katherine Liljestrand!

The Tallahassee Ballet is excited to welcome our newest company member: Katherine Liljestrand! @kat.liljestrand Katherine is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She trained with Ballet Repertory Theatre of New Mexico, where she later danced with the company for many seasons until moving to DC to attend law school at Georgetown University. Katherine danced with various small groups in the DC metro area for the past four years, most recently returning to Ballet Repertory Theatre of New Mexico to guest as Titania in Celia Dale’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Katherine is a huge bookworm with a special affinity for fantasy, classics, and fairytales. Katherine’s favorite species is the giant squid.
Welcome, Katherine! We are so happy to have you in our ballet family!
