It has been a hard 10 days. I miss my excersize and community! Was hoping to get to airela yoga today to stretch out my spine and hang upside down after my chiropracter adjustment. How ever my moon cylce has differnet plans. The universe is telling me to slow down I guess. I was instructed by the Doctor not to get back into my crazy work out routine just yet. :( time to focus on the house and any other part of me.
Some day we'll make it back to yoga ☹️ babes has decided this is when he should nap now (albeit only in the car) and he just won't be able to hang. Miss you ladies!

Do you have a big exercise ball at home?

Try this abdominal crunch exercise on it. Lay with your hips and lower back supported on the ball and feet planted and stable on the ground. Lift your torso about half way up on an exhale and squeeze your abs down towards your spine. Return back to start position. Repeat exercise for 1 minute.

*This exercise is not Diastasis Recti safe. Modify by practicing compression breathing in a static hold.

Hey! Try this challenge move to build core strength and stability.

In kneeling half moon pose try circling your leg clockwise and counterclockwise 10 times each direction. Then try 20 mini leg lifts in this pose. Switch to the other side and complete the exercises. 🦵💪

Try this ab blasting move: Mountain Climber Sliders.

Use sliders, socks, or hand towels under your feet on hard wood or a smooth surface. Pike your butt up and press into the upper back and shoulders. Press your palms into the floor as you alternate pulling your knees in one leg at a time while sliding your feet on the floor.

*This move is not recommended for those with Diastasis Recti.

We use our soft medicine balls for uneven pushups. Complete 3 sets of 10 pushups.

Modify for Diastasis Recti by placing your knees on the ground. You can substitute a yoga block if needed.

Resistance bands can provide an excellent workout and can be used a variety of ways.

Lateral Leg Lift to Upright Row: stand with both feet on your resistance band and cross the band. Lean slightly and lift your left leg to the side then switch and lift the right leg to the side. Plant both feet and hinge the elbows up and out to the sides to raise the handles up toward your shoulders. Keep the resistance band close to your body. Repeat the exercise for 2 minutes.
