Had a fabulous day of Aerial Yoga classes for the Sandia Prep Parents...Go Sundevils! Thanks for coming out and trying something new.

As the name suggests, this style of yoga “restores” the body to its parasympathetic nervous system function, which, in turn, helps the body rest, heal, and restore balance. By allowing time for longer asanas (postures or poses) and deeper breathing, restorative yoga helps elicit the relaxation response.


Daily goal!
Sometimes the cold & dreary weather can get us down. Make it your goal today to counteract that!
Here’s some ideas:
1. Listen to an inspirational podcast
2. Take breaks at the top of every hour to stand up and get some movement in.
3. Make a plan to get your 30+ minutes of fitness in today. Sign up for a class today.
4. Call or check in on a friend or a buddy you haven’t seen in class lately. It’s good to know someone cares.
5. Start journaling
6. Think ahead and start planning your personal goal for tomorrow
