200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training coming this August. After careful consideration we decided to move the training to the end of the year. It has been a hard 10 days. I miss my excersize and community! Was hoping to get to airela yoga today to stretch out my spine and hang upside down after my chiropracter adjustment. How ever my moon cylce has differnet plans. The universe is telling me to slow down I guess. I was instructed by the Doctor not to get back into my crazy work out routine just yet. :( time to focus on the house and any other part of me.
Some day we'll make it back to yoga ☹️ babes has decided this is when he should nap now (albeit only in the car) and he just won't be able to hang. Miss you ladies!

[04/23/20]   The mandated closing of our studio has been incredibly detrimental to our business. While we understand and support the reasons we had to do so, we are not sure if we'll ever recover at this point. We will keep you posted.

We've got your back!

It's crazy to think that a month has already gone by with social distancing. We miss all of you so much, but just because we can't get together in person doesn't mean we can't support you and help you be the best version of yourself.

We are offering live streaming workouts every day of the week through Facebook Live and Zoom. You can also check out the workouts at a later time as well, in case you can't make the live class.

We are offering virtual memberships during the stay at home order. By purchasing a virtual membership, you'll be receiving top of the line fitness classes, access to our amazing community of local women, and supporting a local business for $10/week.

Just finished a 30 minute HIIT class this morning with this little gym partner.

Working out with kids can be challenging, but also a lot of fun. And let's face it-- right now we don't have a choice.

One recommendation to keep babies entertained and smiling is to be as silly as possible. Make funny faces, tickle their tummy, sound like a crazy woman with all the baby talk.

It helps make the workout go by quickly and keeps you smiling throughout as well.

We can't wait for the day when we can get together for a group run, but until then, keep up your training.⁠

In the summer, we will be starting up our half marathon training program again for fall half marathons. ⁠

It's a great way to stay motivated and also check that goal off you list for the year, especially since your spring race likely was cancelled.⁠

Living room Bootcamp coming at ya today at 9:30 a.m.

Can't make it at 9:30? That's the one silver lining of online classes-you can watch later today or even later this week.

Community is so vital to us here at Mindful Movement & Wellness. Due to the public health orders, we aren't able to come together in our studio and work out

However, we won't let this virus hinder our community. We are hosting 1-2 virtual live classes per day in our private Facebook group.

We can still support our members, offer personalized modifications, and bring some joy to this crazy time.

So while our classes may look different for the next few weeks (hopefully this will be over soon!) the live of community is still strong.

[03/18/20]   Dear members due to the new mandates we will be closed for in-studio classes starting Thursday March 19th. However, we will be live streaming a variety of fun classes everyday for our members. We will still offer Mindful Run Club and our small group outdoor boot camps during this time.

We are uncertain of how long this will last, but we will keep you all posted as more information becomes available. We want to wish everyone health and patience during this time of stress and uncertainty. We hope you enjoy the online classes we've come up with to keep you healthy and happy during this time. So you've decided to stay home for the next few weeks... Keep working out!

Mindful Movement & Wellness is hosting 1-2 live classes per day in our private Facebook group. We hope you'll join us!

In addition, here are 3 quick tips for working out at home

1. Do body weight exercises, like push ups, squats, tricep dips, and lunges

2. If you want to use "weights" but don't have any, try canned goods from your pantry. You may have quite a few if you decided to stock up at the store

3. Jam out to some of your favorite tunes. You can create a custom playlist on Spotify or search other's playlists to pump you up

Beginning tomorrow, we will be streaming 1-2 classes per day in our private Facebook group to accommodate our members that are social distancing.

As a small business, we really appreciate our members continued support during this uncertain time.

We are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation in Albuquerque, but as of now we will still be holding classes as usual.

We have set up a disinfecting station to clean all equipment after classes and strongly encourage you to bring your own yoga mat and personal equipment kit to class.

As always, please skip class if you or your child is not feeling 100% healthy to protect others
