Our Story

Las Puertas is a unique event center in the heart of Albuquerque. It’s funky chic industrial vibe comes in part from the building’s architecture, and is immeasurably enhanced by the beautiful antique doors that were inspiration for the venues name. Collected from afar, and displayed throughout the warehouse, the doors, along with other elements, create the perfect backdrop for numerous and varied occasions. As host to myriad events from traditional to the eclectic, the range of this space is broad.

A long time patron, and supporter of the arts, Las Puertas is well known for being a local home for Argentine Tango. We host both large and small tango events - encuentros/festivals, bi monthly Milongas, classes, visiting instructors, and performers from Argentina. From local dance events of all genres, to the New Mexico Philharmonic, Opera Southwest, and Chatter, we are pleased to be associated with such superlative talent.

Non profit events are also an important focus for our venue. Community minded and oriented, Las Puertas is interested and committed to supporting what supports the local good.

We are a growing wedding venue and private party destination with wonderful ambience, natural appeal, and a strong orientation to service. Las Puertas can accommodate a variety of types of events, and assist you in creating your memorable moments.
