West Mesa Aquatic Center

West Mesa Aquatic Center

Thank you to Albuquerque The Magazine and their readers for naming Los Altos Pool as the best public swimming pool in the city! 🏆🎉 We love the facelift it got, and we're glad you do, too.

West Mesa Aquatic Center and the Sunport pool also made the Top 5 - none of this would be possible without the hard work of our aquatics staff!
Are ya open? I have been calling, scanning the web and your sites for weather delays and cancellations. Are you open for my morning swim or not? Announcing closures AFTER lap times kinda defeats the purpose of notifying people.
Think you've got what it takes to take the Al'burrr'querque Polar Bear Plunge?! Join us Saturday at 10 a.m. at the West Mesa Aquatic Center to help raise money for the Shanta Strong Swim Fund to pay for swim lessons for kids in need.

Join us Sunday at West Mesa Aquatic Center for a FREE CPR workshop to learn valuable information about this lifesaving skill. This is NOT a certification course, however, it's a great way to get your questions answered if you've been thinking about getting certified. And stay tuned as we will be offering certification courses in the coming months.

Aquatic Recreation Facility West Mesa Aquatic Center is the site of the City's newest Olympic pool.

This is an excellent pool for lap swimming, recreational swimming, exercise classes, swim meets — stadium seating to accommodate 800 spectators — and other activities.

Operating as usual

Unfortunately due to the mechanical issues and repairs required, the Olympic pool will remain closed today (August 22) thru the afternoon Wednesday (August 24). We are hoping to have the pool back open Wednesday evening.

Unfortunately, the Olympic pool will still be closed this afternoon.

Unfortunately, due to mechanical issues, the Olympic pool will be closed today (August 21) and tomorrow (August 22) morning.
