2026 USATF New Mexico Association 5K Road State Championship. Multiple Age group awards and cash prized to the top Male and Female finishers in both Open and Masters divisions. This will be held in conjunction with the annual Jim Thorpe 5k run on Saturday June 27, 2026.

ALBUQUERQUE CLUB, RUNNING MEDICINE, IS LOOKING FOR FEMALE RUNNERS TO COMPETE AT THE CLUB XC CHAMPIONSHIPS IN TALLAHASSEE, FL IN JANUARY. IF I'M CORRECT THEY ALREADY HAVE 3 RUNNERS AND NEED 5 TO MAKE A TEAM. IF YOUR OVER 40 YOU STILL CAN RUN DOWN IN THE OPEN DIVISION. THEY NEED TO KNOW ASAP. LET ME KNOW IF YOU'RE INTERESTED AND I WILL PASS ON THE INFORMATION. You must be a NM USATF member and associate yourself with the Running Medicine USATF club.

With Cross-Country in full swing, we wanted to point out the that the USATF NM Association had two (2) Championship teams in early 2025.
Competing under the NM SPORTS WARRIORS TRACK CLUB banner at the USATF Cross Country Championships on January 11, 2025, in Lubbock, TX, both teams brought home the gold in the Open and Master's 40-49 division.
Many of these individuals are well known in the Albuquerque and New Mexico running community.

MUST HAVE A CURRENT (2025) USATF NEW MEXICO ASSOCIATION MEMBERSHIP.

MUST BE OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL

MUST BE REGISTERD AND VERIFIED BEFORE THE RACE STARTS. THERE WILL NOT BE ANY VERIFICATION ONCE THE RACE STARTS, YOU MUST ALREADY BE VERIFIED PRIOR TO RACE TIME.

PROOF OF MEMBERSHIP WILL BE NEED TO BE VERIFIED. THIS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. ALL CURRENT USATF MEMBERS REGARDLESS OF STATE REPRESENTATION CAN ACCESS THEIR MEMBERSHIP ON THE USATF WEBSITE. SCREENSHOTS ARE ACCEPTABLE. COPY OF THE PAPER MEMBERSHIP YOU RECIEVE IN THE MAIL WHEN YOU BECOME A MEMBER, OR A PHOTO OF THE MEMBERSHIP CARD.
