9th grade boys have been ballin’ the past few tournaments !! Players are becoming a team as each tournament passes and also improving their individual skills which will help when they go back to their school teams !! Keep grinding Boys !!

Our 7/8th grade girls won the JV Girls Division 🏆🥇SUPER PROUD OF THEM !! Not playing afraid & taking it to the other teams they played.. The greatest part about everything was they were all back at the gym on Monday practicing to better their skills because they know this is just the beginning !!

Our 5th grade boys showing some improvement this past weekend at the East West Tournament. They went 1-3 over 4 games with a tough loss in the playoff game. The future is bright for this team - They show up with high energy & play hard for one another. Shoutout to coach for leading this group over the weekend.

Great showing from our 9th grade boys this weekend going 3-2 in the JV division of the East West Tournament. They showed a lot of grit with 2 OT wins in the playoffs. Now it’s Back to the Grind - working on improving their skills to better them individually & as a team !! Shoutout coach Jordyn ( ) for all of his help this weekend with this group.

3 weekends of tournaments in a row ✅✅✅ for RISE Basketball School !! Glad to see more tournaments popping up on the calendar giving our players an opportunity to test their skills against quality competition from all around New Mexico. We recently played in the WMHS Tourney, High Altitude Tourney, & Coronado Classic. We will continue to practice and play in local tournaments through the end of Spring (May) getting us ready for the summer season.

What Is RISE Basketball School ?

RISE Basketball School is a youth basketball program where the next generation of student-athletes from around Albuquerque & Rio Rancho, New Mexico have the opportunity to learn new skills, work-hard, and have fun. Coach Jules Montgomery creates an enviornment where players are able to grow on and off the court, meet new friends, and learn the ins and outs of basketball. We had a special guest trainer, , in the gym leading our 7th grade boys club team practice this week. It was great to have some young energy showing our players new moves while also being a different voice for the players to relate too. We will be collaborating a lot more with in the future with private trainings, club team practices, & group classes.
