Esperanza will not be taking appointments on Thursday, and will not be holding our usual Pop-Up Clinic on Friday. We will resume normal operations on Saturday with a Pop-Up Clinic at Los Griegos Library. Hope to see you there!

Esperanza will be supporting the upcoming USAC Masters Road National Championships that will be held Aug 5th-Aug 8th.
Because of this, we will not be open for our appointment based Open Clinic on Thursday, August 5th or Sunday, August 8th.
We will return to our normal schedule starting on Tuesday August 10th. Make sure you follow the race and support this awesome event for Albuquerque!

Open Clinic v2.0 begins Sunday, March 7th! We're so excited to welcome you back into our shop!
What's the same:
Just as before, we'll be offering a space where you can learn to repair and maintain your bicycle. We will provide a bench, repair stand, tools, donated parts, and most importantly, expertise to get your repair done safely and correctly. You'll turn the wrench, but we're here to help!
What's different:
With COVID still looming, we will only be allowing people in by appointment, so you'll need to call us at 505-224-6668 beginning at 10am the day you'll be coming to make an appointment. You will have 1 hr 45 min for each appointment to complete your repair, so plan accordingly if you have a job that might take more than one session. We will be sanitizing the whole shop between each session.

Due to unforeseen staffing issues, we will be unable to provide our Pop-Up Clinic scheduled on Tuesday, January 5th at Rudolpho Anaya Library. As of now all other Pop-Ups are planned to go forward as usual.

Pop-Up Clinic Update!
Due to facility closures we will be changing the days and locations of Pop-Up Clinics until further notice. The new schedule is as folows:
Fridays: Civic Plaza near the stage
Saturdays: Balloon Fiesta Park (near the top of Balloon Museum Dr)
Please see the maps below for more info so you can find us. Look for the big yellow tents once you get to each location. All Pop-Ups will continue to operate form 10am-3pm, and will be weather dependant.

This morning Luke Davis earned the 2,500th bike we've given out through our Earn-a-Bike programs! It's been a journey getting here and we aren't done yet. We've been lucky to have such a great staff and a solid core of volunteers to make it this far and help to get this many people riding our refurbished bikes. Heads up, International District! We're adding a stop near you to the Pop-Up Bike Clinic rotation. Come down to the Casa Feliz building (443 Espanola St SE) on Tuesdays from 10am-3pm to get help tuning up your bike. Visit cabq.gov/esperanza for more info.

We will begin offering our Earn-a-Bike class again in an online format in just a few weeks. We will open enrollment for the classes BY PHONE ONLY at 10am on Monday, June 1st.
To enroll, simply call us at 505-224-6668 starting at 10am, and keep calling until you get through. Space is limited, and there will be a lot of people calling in, so your best chance to get in is to call right at 10am and keep calling until you reach a person. WE WILL NOT ENROLL FROM EMAIL, VOICEMAIL, OR IN PERSON.
