Esperanza means hope. At the Esperanza Community Bike Shop we hope to create a better Albuquerque by promoting, bicycle education and transportation.
With some basic knowledge and access to the necessary equipment bicycling can be a safe, healthy, dependable, inexpensive, and fun way to get around. Heads up!
We will be closing our open clinic on August 4th and August 7th as we support the USA Cycling Masters Road National Championship. This is a major event for cycling in Albuquerque and it will be all hands on deck!

Esperanza will not be taking appointments on Thursday, and will not be holding our usual Pop-Up Clinic on Friday. We will resume normal operations on Saturday with a Pop-Up Clinic at Los Griegos Library. Hope to see you there!

Esperanza will be supporting the upcoming USAC Masters Road National Championships that will be held Aug 5th-Aug 8th.
Because of this, we will not be open for our appointment based Open Clinic on Thursday, August 5th or Sunday, August 8th.
We will return to our normal schedule starting on Tuesday August 10th. Make sure you follow the race and support this awesome event for Albuquerque!
