Forward and backward rotations help prepare kids for more advanced gymnastics skills like rolls, handstands, and eventually other tumbling movements. Here’s some skills we are learning as we go:

🤸🏽‍♀️ Body awareness: Kids learn where their body is in space and how to control it while moving upside down.
👂 Vestibular development: Rotational movement stimulates the vestibular system, which supports balance, coordination, and spatial awareness.
💃Strength & coordination: Rolling and rotating build core strength while teaching kids how to coordinate their whole body.
🌟Confidence: Learning to move in new ways-especially upside down-helps children become more comfortable taking safe risks and trying new challenges.
