The very first Coach Chris Eaton Memorial Scholarship ($10,000) will be awarded in June 2024 to one or two Albuquerque student athletes to assist them at college or vocational school in the fall of 2024. The Sandia baseball program is happy to announce that Marc Hilton returns to his alma mater as head coach. Hilton is just the 9th head coach in Sandia’s storied history.

Hilton’s most recent tenure was at West Mesa High School, where he earned his 300th win in 2022. Before that, Hilton led the St. Pius Sartans to a successful 17 year stint, capped by 2 state titles (2003, 2013). Hilton was named NM Head Coach of the Year 3 times (2001, 2003, 2013).
