Took a long A.S.S. ride today to warm up for the 24-hour race I'm riding this weekend (my first race!).

Some lovely people joined me for parts of it (@allisonenator @bikegeek62 ) but a lot was solo.

It felt good to get out and push myself, and the newly dirt-dropped #chubbyandsingle #surlykrampus handled admirably.

Good trails, good coffee and beer (thanks @exnovobrew_nm ) and BBQ, and a single speed shredder make for a great day.

Breathe in the autumn air and beat the traffic by riding your bicycle to Pagan Pride Day!
(Event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/108455193161589/?ti=cl)

The Better Bike Bureau (BBB) has created a BBBike Valet service for Pagan Pride Day!

There are several routes to the park, please visit https://www.cabq.gov/parksandrecreation/recreation/bike
to plan your route. Once you arrive at Pagan Pride Day (PPD), you will find the BBBike Valet staffed by the BBB's own Raian Harris and PPD youth volunteers.

The BBBike Valet will provide a safe & secure location to store your bike allowing you to enjoy Pagan Pride Day, worry-free. Simply present your half of your valet ticket to retrieve your bike.

Raian Matthew Harris, co-owner and lead mechanic at the BBB, will be offering affordable tune ups and adjustments.

BBBike Valet hours of operation: 9:00AM to 6PM
Bikes not picked up from the bike valet area by 6PM will be removed and stored. The bike owner will have to contact the BBB to arrange pick up.

BBBike Valet is provided as a free service to promote bicycling to Pagan Pride Day.

Please remember to follow traffic laws during your rides, and wear a helmet.

Edit: He's just beaten his own world record, with a distance of 22.547km in one hour. Incredible.

We can make it happen if there is enough public demand for it. The next Rio Grande Trail Commission meeting is in Corrales next Thursday, 9/22/16, from 1:30 - 3:30 in the Corrales Council/Municipal Chambers. **We must show up and be counted if we want this to happen in our lifetime.**

This belongs to a long time ABQ cyclist and advocate. You may have seen it at events over the years. We would appreciate your help! Thanks.

Signal boost! Keep an eye out!

Hi, I'm visiting Albuquerque and my bike was stolen last night at the Hyatt place in Uptown. I'm hoping you can keep an eye out? It's a green 15" Jamis Trail X3, has street tire on the rear, green ODI grips, a pink and black Selle Italia saddle, and a trailer hookup for an instep trailer. If you spot it please message me. Please share. I really appreciate it. Thank you!
