New York Advertising Coed Softball League

Though not surprising, it is now official . . . the 2020 NYACSL season is canceled.

The NYC Parks Dept has canceled all field permits until Aug 31.

We'll see you back on Randall's Island in April, 2021 . . . we hope.

Safe to say the beginning of the 2020 NYACSL season will be delayed, most likely severely. No definitive dates can be given as to when the season might start until the COVID-19 pandemic settles down here in NYC.

As soon as we get news, we'll pass it along.

2 weeks to go until our 2019 end-of-year Awards Party at Printers Alley - NYC. We have a bunch of great teams participating. We're still awaiting word from a couple others, so let us know if you will be a part of it.

The event will be from 8p - 11p in the reserved back area of the bar. Tickets will be $40 / person for a 3-hour OPEN BAR with trays of appetizers included. We will have some drinking game tables set-up as well.

We will have a trophy presentation to celebrate our division winners, playoff teams & league champion!

The NY $1Slices kicked some a$$ on and off the field at the Ad Softball World Series. Made up exclusively of NYACSL players, they won their division, got voted as having the best jerseys & jersey dance, came up big playing in the men's 1-pitch tournament ( some of the girls played too ) & represented NYC and the NYACSL proudly!

A great 1st year for this team and a bright & fun future ahead in next year's tourney taking place in California.

Congrats to all our NYACSL players that traveled to Albuquerque, NM to participate in the 37th Annual Ad Softball World Series. 14 of them played on the same team, the NY $1Slices, who won their division & best jersey / team dance competition.

We have players from CDM, FCB, Havas, Hearts & Science, Merkley + Partners & Spark participating. 12+ games over 3 days, but 6 days of fun in the sun, pool parties, beer gardens & more. Start saving if you wanna join next year!

Havas goes back-to-back! They beat Mindshare 3 - 2 to win the 2019 NYACSL Championship. CONGRATULATIONS!

Congrats to Havas, Mindshare & FCB for advancing to Championship Saturday. FCB v Mindshare with winner taking on Havas to win the 2019 title.

The unsettled weather will turn into sunny skies on Saturday, so all playoff games ARE ON! Games are still scheduled to start at 8a.

If there are any changes to the start times, we will work to post that information as early as we can. Good luck to all our playoff teams!

It's OFFICIAL! Our post-playoff party on Sat, Sept 7th will take place at Printers Alley - NYC. We will have the back area of the bar and patio available to us until 6p.

$15 pitchers of Coors Light, $25 buckets of Founders IPA & Bud Light + $6 picklebacks until 6p. There will be beer pong tables set-up and corn hole available on the patio.

Doors open at noon, so once teams are done with their games, feel free to head down and start the partying.

We will have college football games + Yanks / Red Sox on the TV's and projector screens and a banging party playlist over the speakers all afternoon long.

ALL NYACSL teams are invited!

We're onto the 2nd round of the 2019 NYACSL playoffs. This double-elimination round takes place on Sat, Sept 7 ( rainout date is Sun, Sept 8 ). There is NO bus service provided.

Here is the schedule and field assignments for the 1st games:

( #5 ) HAV v ( #4 ) FCB on Randall’s 27

All games are scheduled to start at 8a.

All teams will play a minimum of 2 games, with others playing up to 4 as they advance.

There is no mercy rule.

Roster questions / protests MUST be announced to umpire prior to start of any game.

If there is a protest, the Umpire-In-Chief will be contacted and the protest will be heard and ruled on.

PLEASE bring your ASA Rule book, the NYACSL exception rules to ASA & the ball field permits to avoid any issues.

We will have a post-playoff event at a local bar in Manhattan. More info on that to come.
