Why do we stretch & breathe at the end of class? ๐งโโ๏ธ

Stretch and breath allows us an opportunity to recover both in our bodies and minds at the end of class. The stretch allows time to deeply release heavily worked muscle groups. The breath allows a time to slow down and practice deep and focused breathing which relieves stress and anxiety. The flow allows energy to gently rise up and moves us into our day feeling grounded and rejuvenated.

When we give ourselves the moments to pause, we calm our nervous system and reconnect back to ourselves.
