Hey Albuquerque Volleyball players, P1440 Athlete Chloe Crappell is hosting a Beach Volleyball clinic October 6th 2pm-4pm at Charlie’s Sandbox. This is a great opportunity to learn from a local girl who played Division I Beach Volleyball and is pursuing a professional beach volleyball career. Play in the largest beach volleyball College Recruiting showcase in the Nation. So far we have 16 colleges confirmed to attend our Oct 27th BVNE National College Recruiting Showcase. ABVA had a very successful weekend at the AVPFirst Heartland Zonal Championships. Congratulations to Portia/Jenna and Alex/Ella for their 4th place finish. Congratulations to everyone else for playing so well and pushing yourselves. Here are some pics thank to Carly Bedingfield!

Tryouts are in the books for ABVA and we have a lot of strong players. Looking forward to our first practice on Monday.

Getting ready for the summer season? A reminder to everyone, ABVA tryouts are April 29-30 5pm-7pm. If you can’t make those dates we will have another set of Tryouts May 2-3 5pm-7pm. Tryouts will cost $30 and will be held at Lucky 66 bowl and volleyball. I am looking forward to seeing everyone.

It’s that time of year again, Beach Summer Season has arrived. ABVA will have a Summer Season this year May-July and we will practice 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday). Our practice time will be 5:00-7:00, but it might change to 4:30-6:30. This year ABVA will only offer a Travel team and will not offer a Regional team. The Travel team will cost $900. Another change this year is that all Travel and travel cost will be the parents responsibilities. There will not be a team hotel and no team Travel. I would recommend getting together with other parents and working out places to stay.
We will be playing in 2 local tournaments and playing in 2 travel tournaments.
May 18-19 in Albuquerque NM, NM Premiere collage showcase
June 1-2 in Denver CO, AVP Zonal Championships
June 22 in Albuquerque NM, NM premiere
July 9-13 AAU Nationals

ABVA will be hosting tryouts April 29-30 5pm-7pm or May 2-3 5pm-7pm. The cost of tryouts is $30 per player. Our Summer season will start May 6th.

So I just was informed that many indoor teams have a tournament the weekend before our tryouts, so ABVA will have a second tryout May 2-3 5pm-7pm. I hope this will allow for everyone that is interested in Beach Volleyball a chance to tryout.

Hello Everyone, I know it’s been awhile but this is my busy season. ABVA will be hosting tryouts April 29-30 5pm-7pm. I will be sending more information about the upcoming season soon.

I am very proud to announce that former ABVA coach Chloe Anne Crappell is now a P1440 sponsored athlete. She has been working very hard to achieve her goal of playing professional beach volleyball and this is the next step in the process. Though we will miss her coaching at ABVA, we wish her the best of luck.
