Today we celebrate World Water Day! Employee Wellness is here to remind you to drink more water. Ok, Ok, we know you hear that a lot, but here's why! According to the CDC not only does it stave off the effects of dehydration, including unclear thinking, mood change, and overheating, drinking plenty of water helps your body:
*Lubricate and cushion joints
*Protect your spinal cord and other sensitive tissues
*Get rid of wastes through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements

Have a reusable bottle of water with you and refill it throughout the day, choose water over other drinks, serve water during meals, and add a splash of fruit to help improve the taste so you'll drink more. It's a simple health option we can add to our daily routine to feel our best!

If your job is done mostly through a computer and at a desk, chances are you have fewer NEAT opportunities than other jobs. What's so NEAT about that?
