I have to say, this activity is the MOST fun l have ever had on horseback! It is professionally run by the greatest group of people, and everyone is so darn friendly, supportive, and helpful! My horse and l have never worked cattle before - actually haven't done much except trail ride - and we are just having such a good time. We have learned so much already and look forward to getting better in the future and working more as a team. Thanks to everyone for your help and friendship!
Pati and her helmet look AMAZING at Time On Ten Productions sorting! She’s as cowgirl as they come!
Anyone wanting/needing a partner for the gate at the beginning Ranch hand in the upcoming competition, please let Randy or myself know and we’d love to help you.
Anyone entering the beginner Ranch hand and need a gate person, please let Randy or myself know. We’re happy to help. Message me here for both of us. He doesn’t have his own FB, he uses mine.
Hope to see you all the 16th.
Another great sorting practice today. I tried to get photos of everyone but I'm sure there are a few I missed! Please feel free to download pics from this gallery.

Good Evening Cattle Sorting Enthusiasts,

Please take a moment to read this - WE NEED YOUR HELP.

First off let me introduce myself - I am Brian Berkenpas from Iowa. I purchased a business out here in ABQ in October and that is what brought me to your great state. I am a competitive ranch sorter and have competed all over the Midwest and at the World finals of the RSNC.

I met Kim Weinberger online when I was looking for a place to sort and being new to the area, a chance to make friends with others who love horses. What I soon realized, is that Kim faces the same challenges I do as a producer and cattle owner, back at home. Lots of hard work and all too often, very little to show for it but a empty pocket book, or even worse, having to subsidize the sorting events personally. Unfortunately this has been the case for Kim - she has been subsidizing our events with her own money for our benefit. Her commitment to grow the sport by introducing newbies to the sport and providing a great event and opportunity for us to practice is commendable. We all know that this is not a cheap sport but at the same time is great fun.

That being said, I have helped Kim since I got here (with time, sweat, a truck, gas and buckles for awards) because she is a friend and I see her commitment to the sport and each of us individually. But in the end she still has to reach in her pocket every time to pay expenses. She makes 2 trips down to just set the panels up and bring them back. That alone takes a tank of fuel for her. She has money invested in software computers clocks numbers etc.. I can tell you it never seems to end.

I am asking each of you to consider providing some help. If each of us does something, it would help her build up a little money in the account to help with expenses without raising fees. She does not want to ask you of course, but I though I could start things off by donating $200 to kick-start this sorting campaign. I ask each of you to see if you can find it in yourself to donate as well to help us all continue to enjoy our sorting events. Any amount helps - be it $10,$20,$50.$100,$200 or more. I know Kim would be grateful for the help. IF you guys want to give it to her directly feel free to put in an envelope and drop it off to her at a sort. Another way is to either contact me at 712-490-3332 or via email, [email protected] or contact Kim directly at 360-490-3975 or via email at [email protected].
Thanks so much for making a difference and considering my request, and to provide a little additional incentive, anyone that donates over a $100 I will grill them up a great steak with all the fixings cowboy style at the final!. For $200 plus and you can bring a guest too.

Thanks for reading and hope to hear from you with a generous donation to help keep this great sport out here running.
Thanks for helping in advance.

All donations will be loaded up Saturday afternoon at the Sheriff's Posse arena on 2nd street and hauled out. We are on a quest to have the best organized program around and from the feedback we have been geeting, we are doing a dang good job of it, as demonstrated by our ever increasing number of riders.

With growth comes challenges. The greatest challenge we are facing is the length of the practice days.

On Saturday between the first and second class we are going to take a little break and have a brainstorming session with the production staff and the riders. Hopefully as a group with a common goal, we can come up with some ideas!

I invite you to come and be heard whether you plan to ride or not. The break should be about 11am.

04/04/2022

Saturday, April 9 is the next sorting practice. Come out and tune up before the official show schedule begins in may. Sign up today https://timeonten.com/event/practice/

03/12/2022

Reminder that we are starting the practice at 9am instead of 10. If you are scheduled to ride in the afternoon class, be ready to ride by 11!

Gang, this is a fantastic turnkey horse farm and just had a significant price reduction, just waiting for the new Time on Ten owner!

UPDATE- This is the last call for jackets. The order goes in tomorrow!

Melissa George started a ball rolling that has turned into a Boulder with a simple "I like that jacket, can I get one?".

After wandering around yesterday afternoon, I have orders for 25 Time On Ten jackets!

If you would like to order one (or more), please send me a message with the size and name you want on the left breast. They are $75 each.

For reference, mine is a ladies large. Mark Birkhauser's is a men's medium but is just a little snug (no layering room), and Travis Driscoll's is an XL.

I am going to put in the order at the end of the week. I should have them back by the next practice.

Such a great practice today! Thank you all for sticking with it and being so supportive! There was overwhelming support for the new in/out rider alley. Over 200 teams today and it went so smoothly. We were all cleaned up and home by 6:15!

02/10/2022

We have another big day on the books for Saturday's practice so we are moving up the start time from 10am to 9am. If you are registered, you should have gotten an email announcing this. Please respond to that email so I know you got it.

See you Saturday!

02/07/2022

To try to reduce the time it takes to change teams, we are going to try a new way for teams to enter and exit the pens.

Grab 'yer pony and get on out to the sorting, Saturday Feb. 12th, starting at 10am. All level riders are welcome and we have overnight hookups and stalls for those folks coming in from out of town. Register at https://timeonten.com/event/practice/

01/24/2022

January 15th was our biggest event to date. We had 52 riders and over 250 practice teams. Although it was fun to have so many people, with growth, comes challenges.

Through hours of discussions with the primary production team, we think we have solved many of the challenges we faced.

We will be implementing a few changes at the next event that will make the day run smoother and with a lot less wasted time.

Stand by for more information! See you soon!

01/13/2022

We are starting the practice on Saturday an hour earlier. If you are registered for the morning class, be ready to ride at 9:00. If you are registered for the afternoon class, be ready to ride at 11:00.

The 2021 ranch sorting season came to a end with last weekend's show. Each show awards the top 10 riders in each class points. 1st place receiving 10 points down through 10th place receiving 1 point. At the end of the year the points are tallied and the Champion and Reserve Champions emerge.

Here are the winners for this year.
Dale Tyson won the Beginning Ranch Hand class by a huge margin!
The Novice Champion was Clayton Guest and the Reserve Champion was Lindsey Nials who moved into that spot at the last minute!
The Amateur Champion was Melissa George, the Reserve Champion was Cindy Guest.
The Open Champion came down to the very last team and was decided with a tie breaker. Kim Weinberger narrowly beat Jasper Vassau for the top spot.

11/22/2021

This past weekend was the final show for the 2021 season. Here are the results:
