The Alburtis Tigers would like to make everyone aware that, as part of National Night Out this evening, a medical helicopter (MedEvac) will be landing on our Middle Baseball/Softball Field.

The Middle Field will close at 4:00 PM today and will remain closed for the rest of the evening. It will reopen tomorrow.

We fully support our local first responders and the important work they do for our community. However, this field closure was communicated to us on very short notice, leaving little opportunity to notify our coaches, players, and families in advance. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

We also recognize that the fall season is already a shortened season with limited practice opportunities, and we understand how valuable every practice is for our players and teams. We appreciate everyone’s patience and flexibility as we work through this unexpected change.

This season has certainly brought its share of unexpected challenges with the Upper Field and Lockridge, but we’ve continued to pivot, adapt, and do everything we can to keep baseball and softball moving forward for our players and families.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of the Alburtis Tigers. We hope everyone has a safe National Night Out, and we thank our first responders for everything they do to keep our community safe. ⚾🚑🚒🚓
