The clinic will be hosted in NEC’s beautiful, large, and newly renovated indoor arena.

-Day 1: Flatwork Over Fences
-Day 2: Riding Courses

Four groups with different height options will be offered over both days, and each session is 2 hours per group (max of 6 riders per group). The clinic will run as a weekend package; therefore, riders must sign up for both days of the clinic.

Group 1: 8am-10am | 2’3”-2’6”
Group 2: 10am - 12pm | 3’
Group 3: 1pm - 3pm | 3’
Group 4: 3pm - 5pm | 3’3”+

Both Days: $600
Auditors: $40/day (riders are allotted one auditor/groom for free)

Riders and their +1 (auditor/groom) will be able to attend a complimentary Q&A dinner on Saturday evening with Bernie at 7:30pm in the NOVA Equine Fitness Center. All riders will receive a gift certificate for a free fitness center session that includes work on the water treadmill and 3D oscillating+vibrating plate.

Stall reservations are limited, and will be offered on a first come first serve basis. Stall reservations will be offered and determined closer to the date of the clinic. Please contact [email protected] to determine stall availability.

🔹 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗴:
As a Horseman, Bernie is renowned for not only his riding talents but for his teaching and coaching gifts. As a competitor, Bernie has represented the United States Equestrian Team both at home and abroad on many occasions and reached the top of the sport in all 3 of the International Equestrian Olympic disciplines: Show Jumping, Dressage, and Eventing. In 2009 he was inducted into the National Show Hunter Hall of Fame. In 2010 the California Professional Horsemen's Association honored him with their Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2012 he was awarded the USHJA President’s Distinguished Service Award. He is recognized as a legend in the sport. As a teacher and trainer, he is one of the most sought after clinicians in the country today. His talent for teaching goes back to his roots where he was fortunate enough to have been educated by some of the very best Master Instructors this country and the world have to offer. He served as the West Coastʼs associate Chef d’Equip to George H. Morris, the former Chef d'Equipe of the United States Olympic Equestrian Team. After amassing over 50 years’ worth of training and riding techniques and experiences with thousands of horses, Bernie is driven to give back to the sport that has given him so much fulfillment and success.

Facilitated by Farm Credit of the Virginias and Virginia Farm Bureau Federation, she enjoyed a day meeting with agribusiness and learning about the challenges we as owners and operators of agriculture businesses face in our communities and in our local government.

During Congresswoman Wexton’s visit, she enjoyed a tour of our state-of-the-art facility and learned about our cutting-edge equine water treadmill, fitness, and training programs. We also discussed some of the challenges we encountered in starting NEC and continue to endure as we grow our equine-related businesses. We brought to her attention our concerns on topics of traffic mitigation, permits processes, grants, Equestrian support, and regional growth. She also got to meet a few of the horses and Dr. Joyce’s pups!

𝗔 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 to all who made this important visit possible and to Congresswoman Wexton for allowing us to share our story with her.

𝗗𝗿. 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗮𝗻 from Total Equine Veterinary Associates (TEVA) is available for haul-in veterinary appointments every Wednesday from 11:30am-3:30pm.

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗮𝗻:
Dr. Coppelman is a board-certified surgeon specializing in lameness/soundness evaluation and treatment plans along with physiotherapy, exercise, and rehabilitation. She is a knowledgeable expert and experienced in the latest and most effective joint and arthritis treatments such as Noltrex, Arthramid, Alpha2EQ, and Pro-Stride. She loves performing acupuncture and exploring alternative therapies as well. She is available for specialized and routine care appointments, including dentistry, vaccinations, and Coggins.

𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀:
🔸 𝘐𝘯 𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘶 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘧𝘢𝘳𝘮 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘧𝘦𝘦, there will be a $35 facility usage fee per owner for veterinary appointments per TEVA's agreement with NEC. This helps offset costs for road maintenance, restrooms, stall cleaning, arena footing, air conditioned/heated lounge, etc.
🔸 Haul-in appointments will be in the South Barn/NOVA Equine Fitness Center area. Please use our SOUTH ENTRANCE when arriving for your appointment.
🔸 Sedation recovery stalls are available at NO additional charge.

Join us on Saturday June 11, 2022 for a jump clinic with Cindy Anderson-Blank, 4*/Advanced Level Event rider, YEH/FEH Trainer, & USEA ICP III certified instructor.

Cindy is well regarded for her ability to calmly build confidence in both riders and horses of all levels. Her clinics are routinely cited for their fun exercises and constructive learning environment.

Among others, her riding accomplishments include top placings at Virginia CCI2*, Morven Park Advanced HT, and Plantation Field CIC**.

Clinic groups available from Elementary to Preliminary. Groups of 3-5 riders will be scheduled, with time adjusted for group size. Things are kept very basic for greener groups, and more creative for higher groups.
