Aledo Military Arts Institute specializes in teaching the art of self defense. Classes include Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido and Women's Self Defense.
The Aledo Military Arts Institute, located at the N College Avenue YMCA has been instructing students in Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido since 1992. Classes are designed to teach self-defense, along with improving physical fitness and well being. Grand Master Darrell Thompson (Wasi) is the lead instructor. Grand Master Thompson is a life long student of martial arts. Disciplines include Judo, Kempo, Tae Kwon Do, and Hapkido. He has been teaching in the Aledo community since 1979.
