TWO ALEDO ISD HOST FAMILIES ARE NEEDED FOR FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENTS ARRIVING IN AUGUST FOR THE 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR! Several fabulous exchange students from all over this glorious planet will be arriving August, 2018 to attend high schools all over the Ft Worth and Dallas area! Host families are needed to open their homes and hearts for these well deserving kids while on exchange! Host families supply a bed, three meals per day and transportation to school and activities…the school bus is fine! Families are not paid to host- the reward is the life long relationship you create with your student. The students speak English, have medical insurance and will have money to cover all of their personal expenses. The students can not be accepted at schools until host families have committed to host! Students are here the school year, August to early June. They do not go home for the winter holidays- they are with their host families and new American friends. Would you like to host? All types of families can host…singles, young families, empty nesters, retirees, anyone with an open heart who wants to enjoy the exciting world of cultural exchange! Share your American life with a new friend from the other side of the world! Please contact Susan Jackubowski, Ft Worth Area Coordinator at (678) 429-6707 or [email protected]. School spaces for exchange students at Aledo High School are competitive so this is the time to call and host an exchange student! Once you are approved to host, we will match you up with a wonderful student from another culture. NW Student Exchange www.nwse.com Celebrating 30 years! Danka! Arigato! Gracias! Obrigado! Dekuji! Here we go! 😀 #musclesandmimosas 🏋🍾

"You are born small and weak and you die small and weak. It's how you live in between that matters"

We have 10 class options each day, and 1 on Sunday.

Let the countdown begin! Per the announcement yesterday, gyms and fitness facilities in the state of Texas will be able to open on May 18th! We’re ready... are YOU ready!

You can take people out of the gym but you can’t take the gym out of people... CrossFit Aledo members picked up equipment to work from home during this time. CrossFit is about community and this community knows how to come together and thrive during all times. #CFAmily

In case you need some good news, our very own Coach Jon Thompson is the real deal! He finished the 2020 CrossFit Open in the top 200 for the 44-49 age division, allowing him to do the online qualifier. He has finished the online qualifier number 73!! This is out of almost 12,000 guys in his age division! He has been part of CrossFit Aledo since the very first day the doors opened in 2011. We are more than blessed to have him part of our community! Congratulations Jon, hard work pays off. Well deserved!

From the Dynamic Duo at Crossfit DFW to the Cowtown, we had lots of members competing this weekend. What a great time to come together as a community outside of the gym walls and put fitness into action!

Thank you so much to EcoImprint and Breezie Smades-Soward with Ready Real Estate for bringing Anna Burleson and her team to CrossFit Aledo this morning. We learned a lot about self defense and had fun while doing it!

Thoughts, prayers and love from our CrossFit family to yours.

Please take pics and upload to the page. We will print the pictures out and give them to Emma! Thanks for all the support and love! Anyone can do this, not just Aledo! You can also stop by Bearcat Dollar and buy a Team Emma t-shirt! #orangeforemma #teamemma

[04/07/19]   Today showed what a CrossFit community is all about. People came together, from many different boxes, to show support and love for a family. Most of the people that showed up and donated didn’t even know the family.
Robbie and I sold the gym almost two years ago but still are so grateful that we could come and host something like this. Thank you, Casey, Karen, Clif, and Lindsey.
Ryan, we couldn’t have done this without your help. Kevin Whitney Harris, y’all are awesome as always!

Great job to some of our amazing masters athletes that took on 19.5 tonight! They really showed up and set the bar high with this one. What an inspiration to watch!
