🌟 Principal Appreciation: Honoring Dr. Jimmy Lee Thomas 🌟
As we approach the end of an era at Alexander City Middle School, we want to take a moment to celebrate a leader who has been the heartbeat of our halls: Dr. Jimmy Lee Thomas.
This year marks Dr. Thomas’s final year at ACMS before our schools consolidate, and his absence will be deeply felt by every student, teacher, and staff member he has impacted. Dr. Thomas is more than just an administrator; he is a man obedient to his calling, leading our school with a spirit of service and grace.
Why We Appreciate Dr. Thomas:
A Heart for Others: Whether it’s a student needing encouragement or a staff member seeking guidance, he truly cares for the people in his building.
Constant Positivity: You’ll rarely see him without a smile. His positive attitude is infectious and has made ACMS a brighter place to learn and work.
A Legacy of Belief: Every day, he instills confidence in our students through the daily affirmation poem, "The Ones Who Think They Can." He doesn't just recite the words; he lives them, teaching our children the power of believing in themselves.
Dr. Thomas, thank you for your years of dedication and for pouring your heart into the Alexander City community. You will be greatly missed, but the lessons you've taught us will stay in these halls forever.
We love you, Dr. Thomas! 🎓🐾
